4. TURNING PAGER ON
< Stand by screen>
Press the function button for 2 seconds or longer
while pager is in the Off mode.
Time and date will appear on the bottom center of
the screen.
Upon inserting a battery, pager will vibrate and
beep briefly as it enters the normal reception mode.
If unread new messages are, new icon and the
number of unread messages are displayed on the
screen.
And if all messages are read, the number of
messages in memory is displayed.

Press and hold the Function button for 2 seconds to
enter the Function mode.
Press the Function button repeatedly until "POWER
OFF?" is displayed on the screen.
Press Lamp button for more than 2 seconds to enter
Pager Off mode.

Reading Messages with 13 Characters or More
Messages with 13 or more characters will display
" " at the top right corner of the screen.
Press the Read button to read the rest of the message.
6. RECEIVING AND READING
MESSAGES
When a message is received, the selected Alert will
be activated.
Press the Read button to stop the Alert and to read
messages.
The following information will be displayed in the
order of the newest to the oldest message:
Message number, time stamp and message.

8. LOW BATTERY INDICATOR
When the battery capacity falls below the operational
level, the Low Battery icon will be displayed and the
voltage alarm tone will be activated.
Duplicate Message Indicator will be displayed
on the screen when the pager receives a message
that is identical to a message in memory.

9. LOCKING AND UNLOCKING MESSAGES
A maximum of 15 messages can be locked.
Select a message to be locked and press the Function
button.
When "LOCK?" is displayed, press the Lamp button to
lock the message. The Lock icon will be displayed, and
the message will be locked.
To unlock messages, select the message to be unlocked
and then press the Function button to display "UNLOCK?"
on the screen.
Press the Lamp button.
Locked messages will remain in memory even during low
battery power, and while the battery is being changed.

Pager has the memory capacity to store 30 numeric messages,
with a maximum of 20 characters per message.

11. DELETING INDIVIDUAL MESSAGES
To Delete Individual Messages:
After reading messages, enter into Function mode by
pressing the Function button repeatedly until "CLEAR?" is
displayed on the screen.
Press Lamp button.
Message is deleted and another message is displayed.
To Delete a Locked Message:
It is necessary to convert the locked message into
unlocked condition before the message can be deleted.

Deletion of All Messages:
Press and hold the Function button for 2 seconds to
enter the Function mode.
To display "Clear All?"sign, press Function Button
repeatedly.
On "Clear All?"sign, press Lamp button to delete
all message except locked messages and Unread
message.

to enter the Function mode.
Press the Function button repeatedly until
"ALERT?" is displayed on the screen.
Press the Lamp button repeatedly until desired
Alert is selected.
Press the Function button to complete the
process.

CHANGING ALERT STATUS
Press and hold the Function button for 2 seconds to enter
the Function mode.
Press the Function button repeatedly until "ALARM?" is
displayed on the screen.
Press Lamp button on "ALARM?" indicator to enter into
Alarm-setting mode.
To choose and set desired condition, press Lamp button to
toggle (Ex. YES NO).
To move to each field (hour, minute, am/pm), press the
Read button.
Press Function button to complete the process.

Press and hold the Function button for 2 seconds to
enter the Function mode.
Press the Function button repeatedly until "TIME?"
indicator is displayed on the screen and press Lamp
button.
Time/Date setting process is exactly the same as Alarm
setting process.
Press the Lamp button to change the month, then press
the Read button to move to the next field.
Press the Function button to complete the process.

Press and hold the Function button for 2 seconds to
enter the Function mode.
Press the Function button repeatedly until "AUTOMATIC
ON-OFF?" is displayed on the screen.
Press the Lamp button on "AUTOMATIC ON-OFF?"
indicator to enter into Automatic On-Off mode.
Automatic On-Off time setting process is the same as the
Alarm setting process.
Press the Function button to complete the process.

Press the Lamp button to turn the light on.
Press the Lamp button again to turn the light off.
18. BATTERY INFORMATION
The pager is designed to operate with a "AAA" size alkaline battery.
Note: Do NOT use carbon zinc batteries.

19. CANNED MESSAGE
The pager comes with 12 pre-programmed messages,
which will be displayed on the LCD when the corresponding
code is entered.
To send a canned message:
1. Dial the pager number on a telephone and
wait for a beeping sound.
2. Enter the number from 1 to 12.
3. Upon reception of a canned message, a designated melody
will be activated unless Vibrate or Silence is selected.
