Locate the side burner only in a well-ventilated area. Never locate the side burner in a building,
garage, breezeway, shed or other such enclosed areas without an approved ventilation system.
During heavy use, the side burner will produce a lot of smoke. Ensure there is adequate area for it to
dissipate.

The two illustrations demonstrate how the slide-in type unit is designed to fit into open­front enclosures on the Left and on the Right the Drop-In Style is supported at the Countertop.

C O M B U S T A B L E M A T E R I A L S : For Wood Framed Island Construction is Extremely important Not to use any wood
within 24" Inches of Side Burner. Wood frame is fine for Bar/Sink areas and or Storage compartments. If your island
is mostly wood, just substitute for Metal Studs while within the 24" Inches of Side Burner. If the island is against any
Combustible Materials - be sure to provide protection and keep a minimum distance of 8-1/2" Inches away.

G A S S A F E T Y & A C C E S S : For either Natural Gas or Liquid Propane type, it is required you have clear access to all
interior island Gas-Plumbing, we recommend placing one of Sunstone's Single Access Vented Doors, like item no. A­DV1420, or A-DV1724. Also have at least One Safety-Shut Off Valve Present and within easy access, if this appliance
is being installed in a High-Traffic location like for Residential Community, it is important to have installed a Shut-Off
Timer set for Auto-Shut off in 20 Minutes.
