NOTICES & ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
1) After transportation, let the unit sit upright and undisturbed
for at least 1 hour. If the unit has been put beyond the 45° angle from upright at any point, then let the appliance sit for a minimum of 2 hours prior to operation. Let the appliance operate for 2 hours prior to food storage
2) DO NOT turn the unit on within 5 minutes after a sudden power failure or disconnect. Wait at least 10 minutes to 30 minutes prior to powering the unit up again.
3) Food should be stored with some separation to allow cold air to circulate better and for the appliance to operate more efficiently.
4) It is recommended that the temperature of the food to be stored in the unit should not be warmer than the ambient temperature of the room.
5) Acids, alkaline, corrosive substances, volatile, or inflammable materials MUST NOT be stored in case of damage to the cabinet of the unit. Any resulting damage as a result of improper storage is not covered by the manufacturer
6) How to clean your SunStar appliance: a) Set your appliance to the off position and disconnect from power
source b) Wipe down the interior walls with a soft cloth dipped in a neutral detergent.
c) Dry the interior of the unit with a clean cloth. d)The exterior of the unit can be wiped with a damp cloth. Do not
use harsh chemicals.
7) Seasonally wipe off any dust that has accumulated on the condenser, fan, and compressor.
TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
1) When loading and unloading the unit, the angle of
inclination should not exceed more than 45° in any direction while loading or transportation. Please try to keep the unit steady when in transit. (See Figure 1).
2)e unit should be placed away from direct exposure to sunlight. is unit should be placed in a well-ventilated, dry, and cool environment. (See Figure 2).
3) Aer unpacking and removing all packaging materials please ensure that the appliance has a minimum of 6” inches of clearance from every side. (See Figure 3).

3. Excessive frost accumulation
4. Door leakage
5. Gasket failure
1. Try to open doors less frequently
2. Arrange the food orderly with enough space
for smooth air circulation
3. Take out frozen food and remove the frost.
4. Adjust the door sealing
1. e unit is not leveled
2. Loose fastening parts
3. Unwanted contact between pipes
1. Switch the unit o immediately until the recovery of
the voltage supply is normal. A voltage regulator with
an input power ve (5) times larger is required if the
voltage uctuation exceeds specications
2. Check the input voltage on the module and power
supply battery if it is out of operating voltage
3. Check the cable length between the battery and
module. Please refer to "Cable Requirements" on
page 7 of the User Manual

START UP & TEMPERATURE REGULATIONS
1) START UP
a) Turning the power on, the red indicating light on the temperature control panel will light up (See Figure 4 on page 5), and the compressor will start up. e machine will begin to refrigerate/freeze.
b) e protection signal of the controller is a green indicating light. It will ash a number of times if error occurs. Count the number of ashes and compare with the chart below:
(e module will operate at higher than desired temperatures if
the unit system has been overloaded or if the ambient temperature is higher than 55°C/131°F. To ensure the longevity of the appliance, please ensure that the unit is not overloaded and stored in an environment where the ambient temperature is lower than
55°C/131°F)
c) The unit will not run if there is an error in connecting the anode (positive) and cathode (negative) voltage connectors.
2) TEMPERATURE REGULATIONS
The temperature will gradually drop when the knob of the thermostat is turned clockwise and will gradually gain when the knob is turned counter-clockwise. For the longevity of the appliance, it is not recommended to leave the temperature dial at the coldest setting for prolonged use.
GENERAL ISSUES & TROUBLESHOOTING
1) In case of an abnormal operation, please refer to the
Troubleshooting chart shown on page 8 for inspection and possible solutions. If the issue cannot be solved, please contact the service department of our company or our local institutions with special engagement.
The following are NOT results of faulty equipment:
1) The condenser in the corresponding internal wall will
make the external condenser feel hotter than normal.
2) e intermitting noises heard in the cabinet during the operation of the unit aer the compressor shuts down is caused by the circulating ow of coolant in the condensing pipes.
3) e surface temperature of the compressor may rise to a range between 70°C/150°F and 90°C/194°F.
4) The condensed water beads on the external side of the unit or door during the rainy seasons will not affect the operation of the unit. The water beads may be wiped off with a dry cloth.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
1) Use an independent 12V/24V DC outlet with a capacity of no
less than 12A. e appliance does not require grounding.
2) If the unit is to be stored or le unused for prolonged periods, please ensure that the unit is turned o and disconnected from the power source. When reconnecting, please ensure that connectors and power source is working order.
3) Do not immediately switch the freezer on and o it may result in damage to the compressor module. Please ensure that the unit remains in the o position for a minimum of 10 minutes prior to turning the freezer back on.
4) The appliance is a native 12/24v chest freezer. Never directly connect the appliance to a AC power source as it will cause permanent damage to the hardware.
5) The supplier is not responsible for any damages or losses as a direct result of failing to comply with the safety and standards outlined in this manual. The supplier is also not responsible for any accidents or damages as a result of an act of God.
