Solar generator SM 10 has been developed
especially for the use in small private and
industrial appliances with low power demand e.g.
battery top-up charging, independent power supply
for mobile weather stations etc.
The 36 one fifth cells of the SM 10 made from
crystalline silicone achieve a peak power of 10
Wp. The solar cells are textured and nonreflective. They are sandwiched within the
laminated module in soft EVA plastic (ethylenevinyl-acetate). This guarantees water resistance
and UV stability as well as electrical insulation and
allows thermal expansion.
The front cover of SM 10 of hardened very clear
special glass is extremly light-permeable and
robust. The Tedlar plastic reverse side is strongly
bonded to the glass layer. Anodized aluminium Lpfrofiles from the warp resistant module frame in
which the laminate is enclosed makes universal
mounting simple. Thus the solar module SM 10 is
well protected from mechanical and climatic
influences.
The electrical connection for this module utilises a sealed connection box with a 0,5 m cable.
