User’s Manual
Congratulations on your new ifidelity Optimus Bluetooth Headset! Read carefully and follow all instructions in this User's Manual before you use the Optimus Bluetooth Headset. Keep this User's Manual in a convenient location for future reference.
Safety Information
When used in the directed manner, this unit has been designed and manufactured to ensure your personal safety. However, improper use can result in electric shock or fire. Please read all safety and operating instructions carefully before installation and use, and keep these instructions handy for future reference. Take special note of all warnings listed in these instructions and on the unit.
• Avoid contact with liquids and keep out of damp areas
• Avoid contact with intense heat
• Charge headset fully before use
Repairs:
This unit should only be serviced by qualified service personnel, if:
- The unit has been exposed to liquids
- The unit has been dropped or the housing is damaged
- The unit exhibits a marked change in performance or does not operate normally.
Do not attempt to repair the unit yourself. Seek assistance from a qualified professional.
Periods of Non Use:
If the unit is to be left unused for a period of 3 weeks or more, it is advised that the unit be charged to avoid damaging the internal lithium battery.
Headset Controls:
1. Volume (press, hold)/Track Selection (press) (Pairing mode LED indicator between volume controls)

3. On/Off, Play/Pause/Phone Calls (answer/reject)
• On/Off: Press and hold to turn power on/off (Enters pairing mode automatically)
• Play/Pause/Phone Calls: Press to play/pause music. Press to receive a call. Press button again or
press and hold to end or ignore the incoming call.

User Instructions:
Pairing:
• Press and hold the On/Off button. Audio prompt will sound: “Power On.”
• Using your Bluetooth enabled device, search for available Bluetooth devices in range.
• Select “ifidelity Optimus” and follow the instructions on your device.
• Audio prompt will sound, “Connect me”, indicating that the device was paired successfully.
To unpair: (2 options) 1: Unpair the devices from your Bluetooth device. 2: Press and hold the On/Off button. Audio prompt will sound: “Power Off.” * Headphones may pair again when turned back on. This can be resolved by using your device to unpair the Optimus Bluetooth Headset.
* A 3.5mm audio cable is included for devices that do not support Bluetooth connections.
User Instructions:
Headset can only support a single Bluetooth connection at a time. If experiencing trouble connecting, ensure that the Optimus Bluetooth Headset is not connected to another Bluetooth device. If this is the case, unpair it from the other device and try again.
Charging Built in Lithium Ion Battery : Insert the Micro USB cable (included) into the headset port ( ). Insert the USB plug into a computer or power adapter. When charging, the red indicator will illuminate. The blue indicator will illuminate to indicate a full charge. * The headset should be turned off during charging.
CAUTION: DO NOT expose to intense heat, fire, or liquids.
Troubleshooting:
Issue
Not charging No sound No audio signal via Bluetooth connection Speaker cannot be connected Poor sound quality from Bluetooth device
Cause
The USB power adapter (not included) is not plugged into a wall socket or the USB cable (included) is not plugged into the mini USB jack on the bottom of the Optimus. Wall socket is not functioning. Computer USB port is not functioning. Optimus battery is dead. Optimus is not connected to/paired with the mobile phone or BT device. Volume is too low. Speaker is not paired to the audio source. Volume is too low. Pairing does not work. Audio source is switched off. Bluetooth is switched off at the audio source. Bluetooth version is not supported. Bluetooth device is out of range of the Optimus.
Solution
Plug the USB power adapter into a wall socket and plug the USB cable (included) into the mini USB jack on Optimus. Plug another device into the same socket to confirm the socket is working. Make sure your computer is turned on and try another USB port. Recharge the Optimus´s battery. Follow the speaker instructions to connect the speaker. Increase the volume of your device. Check whether a connection exists. If necessary, pair the speaker with the audio source again. Increase the volume on the speaker. Increase the volume on the audio source. Check whether the audio source supports Bluetooth connections. Turn on the audio source.
