1. INTENDED USE
The SSL-2054BE is a 2054-style, smart, li-ion battery pack supplied by Sunoptic
Technologies® that is to be integrated into our premier LED Headlight product line.
2. WARNINGS
• NOTE: The batteries must be fully charged before first use.
•
Upon initial receipt and before each use, inspect each battery for damage. Do not
attempt to charge a damage battery.
•
Do not expose the battery to heat, fire, mechanical shock, or store in direct sunlight.
•
Do not open or dismantle the battery
•
Do not use this equipment in the presence of a mixture containing flammable anesthetic
and/or air or oxygen or nitrous oxide.
•
Do not sterilize, immerse, or expose the battery to water, solvents, lubricants, or other
chemicals to clean the charger unless otherwise directed. Do not allow water to collect in
the battery contacts. Keep clean and dry.
•
Do not short-circuit, crush, or shred the battery
•
Do not store the batteries haphazardly in a box or drawer in which the batteries may
short circuit each other or be short-circuited by other metal objects.
•
In the event of a battery leakage, do not allow the liquid to come in contact with skin or
eyes. If contact has been made, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water
and seek medical advice.
•
Do not use any charger other than a smart battery charger supplied by Sunoptic
Technologies®.
•
Ensure correct battery orientation is followed before placing into a device.
•
Do not attempt to force a battery into a device.
•
When possible, remove the battery from equipment when not in use.
•
Do not store batteries for more than one month in a discharged state.
• Do not store batteries for more than one year without recharge.

battery contacts, and place the battery into the slot. Do not force the battery into the slot.
Refer to the charger IFU for a detailed operation.
ABOUT SMBus and SBS: The Smart Battery System defines the parameters that are
stored by an SBS-compliant battery. These parameters include full battery status and
fuel gauging information. The System Management Bus is the language by which these
parameters are communicated between the battery, the charger and the host device.
NOTE: The SSL-2054BE no longer requires fuel gauge re-calibration.
5. CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
• Remove the battery from the host device.
• Clean the exterior of the battery with a cloth that has been dampened (not dripping)
using a hospital disinfectant. Follow applicable hospital protocols during cleaning and
dry immediately.
6. USER SERVICE
The SSL-2054BE has no user or field serviceable components. It can only be serviced at
the factory by factory trained technicians.

8. LIMITED WARRANTY
Your battery carry a one year warranty from the date of shipment on workmanship and
all defects of material. Should your product prove to have such defects Sunoptic
Technologies
®
will repair or replace the product or component part without charge.
Please contact Sunoptic Technologies® for return authorization documentation.
You should carefully pack the unit in a sturdy carton and ship it to the factory. Please
include a note describing the defects, your name, telephone number and a return
address. Warranty does not cover equipment subject to misuse, accidental damage,
normal wear and tear or if transferred to a new owner without authorization from
Sunoptic Technologies®. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may
also have other rights that vary from state to state.
POST WARRANTY REPAIRS: You may return your product(s) for repair, shipping
prepaid to the factory. Your product will be inspected and an estimate of repair charges
will be submitted to you for approval. Payment must be received before repairs are
completed.

La batterie SSL-2054BE est une batterie li-ion intelligente, de style 2054, fourni par
Sunoptic Technologies®, qui doit être intégrée à notre gamme de produits à affichage
LED.

AVERTISSEMENTS

REMARQUE : Les batteries doivent être complètement chargées avant la
première utilisation.

FONCTIONNEMENT DE LA BATTERIE
JAUGE DE CAPACITÉ : Chaque batterie SSL-2054BE est équipée d'une jauge de
capacité qui affiche l'état de charge relatif de la batterie. Pour activer la jauge de
capacité, appuyez sur le petit bouton circulaire à côté de la jauge. Chaque LED sur la
jauge de capacité représente 25% de la capacité complète. Voici la légende de la
jauge de capacité :
• Quatre LED allumées - Capacité = 76 à 100%
• Trois LED allumées - Capacité = 51 à 75%
• Deux LED allumées - Capacité = 26 à 50%
• Une LED allumée - Capacité = 10 à 25%
• Une LED clignotante - Capacité < 10%

RECHARGE : La batterie SSL-2054BE ne doit être rechargée qu'avec les chargeurs
de batterie intelligents fournis par Sunoptic Technologies. Pour charger, orientez la
batterie pour aligner le chargeur et les contacts de la batterie, et placez la batterie dans
l'emplacement. Ne forcez pas l'insertion de la batterie dans l'emplacement. Reportezvous à la notice d'utilisation du chargeur pour une opération détaillée.
À propos de SMBus et SBS : Le SBS (Système de batterie intelligente) définit les
paramètres qui sont stockés par une batterie compatible SBS. Ces paramètres incluent
l'état complet de la batterie et les informations de jauge de capacité. Le SMBus (bus de
gestion système) est le langage par lequel ces paramètres sont communiqués entre la
batterie, le chargeur et le périphérique hôte.

INSTRUCTIONS DE NETTOYAGE
• Retirez la batterie du périphérique hôte.
•
Nettoyez l'extérieur de la batterie à l'aide d'un chiffon humide (pas de gouttes) avec
un désinfectant hospitalier. Suivre les protocoles hospitaliers applicables pendant le
nettoyage et sécher immédiatement.
SERVICE UTILISATEUR
La batterie SSL-2054BE ne contient aucun composant réparable sur site ou par
l'utilisateur. Elle ne peut être réparée qu'en usine par des techniciens spécialement
formés.

VERWENDUNGSZWECK
Der SSL-2054BE ist ein 2054-Stil, Smart, Li-Ion Akkupack von Sunoptic
Technologies®, der in die LED Headlight-Luxusproduktreihe eingebaut wird.
WARNUNGEN
•
HINWEIS: Die Akkus müssen vor der ersten Verwendung vollständig aufgeladen
werden.
•
Inspizieren Sie jeden Akku bei Empfang und vor jeder Benutzung auf Schäden. Laden
Sie keinen beschädigten Akku.
• Akku nicht Hitze, Feuer, Schlägen aussetzen oder in direktem Sonnenlicht lagern.
• Akku nicht öffnen oder zerlegen.
•
Verwenden Sie dieses Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Mixturen, die brennbare
Anästhetika und / oder Luft oder Sauerstoff oder Stickstoffoxid enthalten.

Akku nicht sterilisieren, untertauchen oder beim Reinigen Wasser, Lösemitteln,
Schmiermitteln oder anderen Chemikalien aussetzen, sofern nicht anders angegeben.

AKKUBETRIEB
LADEANZEIGE: Jeder SSL-2054BE Akku ist mit einer Ladeanzeige ausgerüstet, die
den relativen Ladezustand des Akkus anzeigt. Um die Ladeanzeige zu aktivieren,
drücken Sie auf den kleinen, runden Knopf neben der Messanzeige. Jede LED auf der
Ladeanzeige stellt 25 % der vollen Ladekapazität an. Nachstehend sehen Sie die
Legende der Ladeanzeige:
• Alle vier LEDs leuchten: Kapazität = 76 - 100 %
• Drei LEDs leuchten: Kapazität = 51 - 75 %
• Zwei LEDs leuchten: Kapazität = 26 - 50 %
• Eine LED leuchtet: Kapazität = 10 - 25 %

LADEN: Der SSL-2054BE sollte nur mit den von Sunoptic Technologiesbereitgestellten
Smart-Akku-Ladegeräten geladen werden. Richten Sie die Kontakte am Akku zum
Laden am Ladegerät aus und legen den Akku in die Aufnahme ein. Akku nicht
gewaltsam in die Aufnahme einlegen. Genauen Betrieb entnehmen Sie bitte der
Gebrauchsanweisung des Ladegeräts.
ÜBER SMBus und SAS: Das Smart-Akku-System definiert die Parameter, die von
einem SAS-kompatiblen Akku gespeichert werden. Zu diesen Parametern gehören
Akkuzustand und Lademessungen. Beim System Management Bus handelt es sich um
die Sprache, in der diese Parameter zwischen Akku, Ladegerät und Host-Gerät
kommuniziert werden.
HINWEIS: Der SSL-2054BE benötigt keine Neukalibrierung des Lademessers mehr.

REINIGUNGSANWEISUNGEN
• Entfernen Sie den Akku vom Gerät.

Reinigen Sie die Oberfläche des Akkus mit einem feuchten Tuch (nicht nass) und
Desinfektionsmittel. Gehen Sie bei der Reinigung nach Krankenhausprotokoll vor
und trocknen Sie das Gerät umgehend ab.

Der SSL-2054BE enthält keine Komponenten, die vom Nutzer gewartet werden
können. Er darf nur im Werk von einem geschulten Techniker gewartet werden.

Technologies das Produkt oder Bauteil kostenlos reparieren oder ersetzen.
Bitte lassen Sie sich von Sunoptic Technologies eine Rücksendegenehmigung
geben.Sie sollten Einheit sorgfältig in einen stabilen Karton verpacken und an das

USO PREVISTO
La SSL-2054BE è una batteria agli ioni di litio, intelligente del modello 2054 fornita da
Sunoptic Technologies® ; questa deve essere integrata nella nostra linea di lampade
da testa LED.

AVVERTENZE
•
NOTA: Le batterie devono essere caricate prima dell'uso.
•
Alla prima apertura della confezione e al primo utilizzo, controllare la batteria per
verificare che non presentino guasti. Non cercare di ricaricare batterie danneggiate.
•
Non esporre la batteria a calore, fuoco, urti forti e non conservarla alla luce solare
diretta.
• Non aprire o smontare la batteria.
•
Non usare questa attrezzature in presenza di una miscela contenente anestetico
infiammabile e/o aria o ossigeno o ossido nitroso.
•
Non sterilizzare, immergere o esporre la batteria a acqua, solventi, lubrificanti o altre
sostanze chimiche per pulire il caricatore a meno che non si abbiano altre indicazioni.
Far attenzione a non far entrare acqua nei contatti della batteria. Tenerlo pulito e
asciutto.
• Non cortocircuitare, esporre a urti o danneggiare la batteria.
•
Non conservare le batterie in modo pericoloso in una scatola o cassetto nel quale
potrebbero essere cortocircuitati da altri oggetti metallici.
•
Laddove la batteria dovesse perdere, far attenzione che il liquido non entri in contatto
con pelle o occhi. Se ciò dovesse accadere, lavare la zone intatta con abbondante
acqua e contattare un medico.
•
Non usare nessun caricatore diverso dal caricatore per batteria intelligente fornito da
Sunoptic Technologies®.
• Verificare che la batteria sia inserita correttamente prima di inserire un dispositivo.
• Non cercare di forzare una batteria in un dispositivo.
• Ove possibile, togliere la batteria dal dispositivo se non in uso.

FUNZIONAMENTO CON BATTERIE
MISURATORE: Tutti i misuratori SSL-2054BE sono dotati di un misuratore che mostra
lo stato di carica relativo della batteria. Per attivare il misuratore, premere il tasto
piccolo circolare accanto al misuratore. Ciascun LED del misuratore rappresenta il 25%
della capacità di carica completa. Di seguito è riportata la leggenda del misuratore:
• Tutti e quattro i LED illuminati – Capacità = 76 – 100%
• Tutti e tre i LED illuminati – Capacità = 51 – 75%
• Due LED illuminati – Capacità = 26 – 50%
• Un LED illuminato – Capacità = 10 – 25%
• Un LED lampeggiante – Capacità < 10%

CARICA: Il SSL-2054BE deve essere caricato solo caricatori di batterie intelligenti
forniti da Sunoptic Technologies. Per caricare, orientare la batteria per allinearla col
caricatore e con i contatti della batteria, inoltre mettere la batteria nella fessura. Non
forzare la batteria nella fessura. Fare riferimento all’IFU del caricatore per un
funzionamento dettagliato.
INFORMAZIONI SU SMBus e SBS: Il Sistema di Batteria Intelligente definisce i
parametri salvati da una batteria conforme SBS. Questi parametri comprendono le
informazioni sullo stato completo della batteria e sulla misurazione. Il Bus di
Misurazione del Sistema è il linguaggio mediante il quale questi parametri sono
comunicati tra la batteria, il caricatore e il dispositivo ospite.
NOTA: Il SSL-2054BE non richiede più la ri-calibrazione del misuratore.

ISTRUZIONI RELATIVE ALLA PULIZIA
• Rimuovere la batteria dal dispositivo host.
•
Pulire l’esterno della batteria con un panno inumidito (che non gocciola) usando un
disinfettante ospedaliero. Osservare i protocolli ospedalieri vigenti durante la pulizia
e asciugare immediatamente.

ASSISTENZA DA PARTE DELL'UTENTE
La SSL-2054BE non presenta componenti utilizzabili dall'utente. Il lavori di assistenza
devono essere eseguiti solo alla fabbrica da tecnici qualificati.

SOSTITUZIONE DELLE PARTI

GARANZIA LIMITATA
La batteria presenta un anno di garanzia a partire dalla data di spedizione sulla
lavorazione e su tutti di difetti di materiale, escluse le batterie. Laddove il prodotto
dovesse presentare dei difetti Sunoptic Technologies riparerà o sostituirà il prodotto
o componenti a costo zero.
Contattare Sunoptic Technologies per l’autorizzazione di restituzione. Imballare
l'unità in un cartone resistente e spedirla in fabbrica. Includere una nota che descrive i
difetti, il nome, numero di telefono e l'indirizzo di restituzione. La garanzia non copre
l'impianto se sottoposto a funzionamento errato, guasto accidentale, usura normale o
se trasferito ad un nuovo proprietario senza autorizzazione da parte di Sunoptic
Technologies . Questa garanzia offre specifici diritti legali e anche. Altri diritti che
variano da stato a stato.

Paquete de batería inteligente de iones de litio SSL-2054BE tipo 2054 que suministra
Sunoptic Technologies® que se integrar a nuestra línea de productos de primera clase
LED Headlight.

ADVERTENCIAS
•
NOTA: Las baterías deben cargarse completamente antes de usarse por primera
vez.
•
A su recibo y antes de cada uso, examine cada batería por si tuvieran daños. No
intente cargar una batería dañada.
•
No exponga la batería al calor, el fuego o los choques mecánicos ni la almacene
expuesta a la luz solar.
• No abra ni desensamble la batería.
•
No utilice este equipo en presencia de compuestos que contengan anestésicos
inflamables, aire, oxígeno u óxido nitroso.
•
No esterilice la batería, no la sumerja ni exponga al agua, disolventes, lubricantes u
otros productos químicos, excepto si se indicara otra cosa. No deje que el agua se
acumule en los contactos de la batería. Manténgalos limpios y secos.
• No ponga en corto circuito, aplaste ni destroce la batería.
•
No almacene las baterías al descuido dentro de una caja o cajón donde puedan
ponerse en corto circuito unas con otras u con otros objetos metálicos.
•
Si se derramara el líquido de la batería, no permita que entre en contacto con la piel o
los ojos. Si se tales contactos sucedieran, lave el área afectada con abundante agua
y busque atención médica.
•
No use ningún otro cargador que no sea el cargador de batería inteligente provisto
por Sunoptic Technologies®.
•
Asegúrese de orientar correctamente la batería antes de colocarla dentro del
dispositivo.
• No intente forzar la batería para introducirla dentro del dispositivo.
• Cuando sea posible, retire la batería del equipo si no se está usando.
• No almacene las baterías descargadas por más de un mes.
• No almacene las baterías por más de un año sin recargarlas.

FUNCIONAMIENTO DE LA BATERÍA
INDICADOR DE ENERGÍA: Todas las baterías SSL-2054BE están equipadas con un
indicador de energía que muestra el estado de carga relativo de la batería. Para
activar el indicador de carga, pulse el pequeño botón circular al lado del indicador.
Cada LED del indicador de carga representa un 25% de la capacidad de carga total. A
continuación aparece la leyenda del indicador:
• Todos los LED iluminados – Capacidad = 76 – 100%
• Tres LED iluminados – Capacidad = 51 – 75%
• Dos LED iluminados – Capacidad = 26 – 50%

PROCESO DE CARGA: La SSL-2054BE debe cargarse con cargadores de baterías
inteligente suministrados por SSL-2054BE. Para cargar la batería, oriente la batería
para que quede alineada con el cargadory los contactos de batería, luego coloque la
batería en la hendidura. No fuerce la batería para insertarla dentro de la hendidura.
Para detalles sobre el funcionamiento, consulte las instrucciones de uso del cargador.
Sobre SMBus y SBS: El sistema de batería inteligente (SBS, siglas en inglés) define
los parámetros que almacena una batería con SBS. Entre estos parámetros están el
estatus de batería con carga completa y la información del indicador de energía. El
bus de gestión de sistema es el lenguaje mediante el cual se comunican estos
parámetros entre la batería, el cargador y el dispositivo anfitrión.
NOTA: La SSL-2054BE ya no necesita recalibración del indicador de energía.

INSTRUCCIONES DE LIMPIEZA
• Retire la baterías del dispositivo anfitrión.
•
Limpie la parte exterior la batería con un paño humedecido (sin que gotee) y un
líquido desinfectante de hospital. Durante la limpieza, siga los protocolos de
hospital aplicables e inmediatamente después seque el cargador.
REPARACIONES POR EL USUARIO
La SSL-2054BE no tiene componentes que puedan ser reparados por el usuario o el
personal de campo. Solo podrá repararse en fábrica por un personal técnico
capacitado.
PIEZAS DE RECAMBIO
Para solicitar piezas de recambio, equipamiento adicional u opcional, por favor llame al

GARANTÍA LIMITADA
A partir de su fecha de envío, su batería tiene una garantía de seis meses para
defectos de fabricación y todos los defectos de materiales. Si su producto tuviera ese
tipo de defectos Sunoptic Technologies reparará o sustituirá el producto o la pieza
sin coste. Por favor, contacte con Sunoptic Technologies para tramitar la
documentación de autorización de devolución. Se debe empacar la unidad
cuidadosamente en una caja de cartón resistente y enviarla a la fábrica. Por favor,
incluya una nota que describa los defectos, y escriba su nombre, teléfono y dirección
de remitente. La garantía no cubre equipos sometidos a un uso indebido, daños por
accidentes, desgaste o rotura por el uso normal, ni aquellos equipos que se hayan
transferido a otros dueños sin la autorización de Sunoptic Technologies . Esta
garantía le concede derechos legales específicos, además de otros derechos que
usted podría tener y que varían de estado a estado.
