Read these instructions carefully as improper assembly of this step may cause permanent damage to your equipment.
STEP 3:
Before you begin, immobilize both crank arms by turning the crank arm all the way to the right (clockwise).
Right Pedal: Align the Right Pedal (No. 35R) to its corresponding crank arm at 90 degrees. Gently insert the Right Pedal (No. 35R) into the right crank arm and turn the pedal clockwise as tightly as you can with your hand. Use Spanner (No. 75) to secure.
Left Pedal: Align the Left Pedal (No. 35L) to its corresponding crank arm at 90 degrees. Gently insert the Left Pedal (No. 35L) into the left crank arm and turn the pedal counter-clockwise as tightly as you can with your hand. Use Spanner (No. 75) to secure.

MAINTANENCE & ADJUSTMENTS
Ensure that all parts are in good working condition and installed properly. It is advised to periodically inspect your equipment for any defective or worn parts. If you should find any defective parts, do not continue using your equipment until the issue has been rectified.
1. Pay special attention to easily worn parts, such as the Brake Pads (No. 41). You will need to replace them over time.
2. Always inspect the Pedals (No. 35 L/R) before exercise. Be mindful that reverse pedaling may loosen the pedals. Retighten the pedals onto the crank arms if necessary.
3. If the Seat (No. 22) has loosened, use the Spanner (No. 75) to tighten the hexagon nut under the Seat (No. 22).
