This document provides you with a detailed guide for rackmounting and configuring the Sun Fire™ V125 server.

How This Document Is Organized
Chapter 1 contains a description of the installation process, a list of the contents of
the shipping kit, and an overview on using the Sun Advanced Lights Out Manager software.
Chapter 2 contains a list of the rackmounting kit, a list of compatible racks, and
instructions for mounting the server into the rack.
Chapter 3 contains an overview of the status indicators and instructions for
powering on the server, connecting a console, and configuring the preinstalled software.
Using UNIX Commands
This document might not contain information about basic UNIX®commands and procedures such as shutting down the system, booting the system, and configuring devices. Refer to the following for this information:
