In the event of a product defect during the warranty period, take the product and the RadioShack sales receipt as proof of purchase date to any RadioShack store. RadioShack will, at its option, unless otherwise provided by law: (a) correct the defect by product repair without charge for parts and labor; (b) replace the product with one of the same or similar design; or (c) refund the purchase price. All replaced parts and products, and products on which a refund is made, become the property of RadioShack. New or reconditioned parts and products may be used in the performance of warranty service. Repaired or replaced parts and products are warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period. You will be charged for repair or replacement of the product made after the expiration of the warranty period.
This warranty does not cover: (a) damage or failure caused by or attributable to acts of God, abuse, accident, misuse, improper or abnormal usage, crash, collision, impact, violent contact, failure to follow instructions, improper installation or maintenance, alteration, lightning or other incidence of excess voltage or current; (b) any repairs other than those provided by a RadioShack Authorized Service Facility; (c) consumables such as fuses or batteries; (d) cosmetic damage; (e) transportation, shipping or insurance costs; or (f) costs of product removal, installation, set-up service adjustment or reinstallation.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Install Batteries
Turn off the truck and transmitter.
Insert one 9V battery (not
supplied) in the transmitter battery compartment, matching the polarity (+ and –) marked inside.
Open the truck’s battery
compartment, then insert a fully­charged 9.6V battery pack (not supplied) into the battery holder and connect the connectors. The battery only fits one way. Do not force it.
Place the battery holder into
battery compartment by aligning the two notches and secure the
latches.

Battery Notes
• Use only fresh batteries of the required size and recommended type. Do not burn or bury batteries.
• To keep motor heat levels down, let the vehicle cool at least ten minutes before changing batteries.
• If you do not plan to use the vehicle for a week or longer, remove the batteries from both the vehicle and transmitter.
• Position the battery connectors and wires so they do not touch any moving parts.
• Remove the exhausted batteries from the vehicle and transmitter.
• Do not recharge the non-rechargeable batteries.
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the vehicle before charging.
• Rechargeable batteries should only be charged under adult supervision.
• Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.

Extend your transmitter antenna to full length. Turn on the truck and transmitter, then use the transmitter’s controls to
steer.
Turn off the truck and transmitter when you finish driving.

Placing rechargeable batteries in the trash can be harmful to the environment. Instead, recycle old rechargeable batteries at your local RadioShack store free of charge. RadioShack participates in the RBRC© battery

ON/OFF
Attach the antenna tube here.
Latch
R / L
Turn toward R if the truck pulls to the left.
Turn toward L if the truck pulls to the right.
Install Antenna
Thread the truck’s antenna wire through the supplied antenna tube.
Insert the tube into the antenna hole on the truck’s body.
Tie a loose knot to hold the antenna wire in place.
Trigger
Pull back to drive forward, push to drive backward.
Attach the antenna here.
Steering
ON/OFF
HI/LOW
Switch to LOW when driving on rough terrain.
Switch to HI when driving on smooth terrain.
Align with notches
