Never leave dead or weak batteries in the car or the transmitter. Warning: Dispose of old batteries promptly and properly. Do not burn or bury them.

The car requires one 9.6-volt rechargeable battery pack for power. You must charge a rechargeable battery pack before you can use it to power your car. To chare it, follow the battery charger’s instruction.
1. Slide ON/OFF on the bottom of the car to OFF.
2. Use a coin to turn the battery compartment cover’s latches clockwise until they stop. Then lift o ff the cover.
3. Put the battery pack in the compartment with the battery pack’s connector on the same side as the car’s matching connector.
4. Attach the battery pack’s white connector to the car’s matching connector. Do not force them! They only fit together one way.
5. Replace the cover and turn the latches counterclockwise until they stop. Be sure the connectors and wires do not touch the car’s moving parts. If the car loses power or does not respond to the transmitter, recharge the battery pack.
Note: Occasionally, let the battery pack fully discharge before recharging it. Otherwise the battery pack may lose its ability to fully charge. Cautions:
Use only the recommended battery pack and charger.
Do not charge or recharge the battery pack while it is in the car.
After you charge or recharge the battery pack (see the charger’s manual for the charging

When you disconnect the battery pack from the charger, do not pull on the connector’s wires.
You might damage the battery pack.
