The transmitter requires one 9-volt battery. For the best performance and longest life,
we recommend a alkaline battery.

2. Press the tab on the battery compartment cover and open the cover.
3. Place a battery in the battery compartment according to the polarity symbols (+
and -) marked inside.
4. Close the cover.
Note: When the transmitter's range decreases, replace its battery.
In The Car
The car requires one 9.6-volt rechargeable battery pack for power.
You must charge a rechargeable battery pack before you can use it to power your car.
To charge it, follow the battery charger's instructions.
1. Slide ON/OFF on the bottom of the car to OFF.

stop. Then lift off the cover.
3. Put the battery pack in the compartment with the battery pack's connector on the
same side as the car's matching connector.
4. Attach the battery pack's white connector to the car's matching connector. Do not
force them! They only fit together one way.
5. Replace the cover and turn the latches counterclockwise until they stop.
Be sure the connectors and wires do not touch the car's moving parts. If the car loses
power or does not respond to the transmitter, recharge the battery pack.
Note: Occasionally, let the battery pack fully discharge before recharging it.
Otherwise the battery pack may lose ability to fully charge.
