Sunbeam’s Total Safety System
Safety auto shut off
Your Sunbeam Twinheat Ceramic Heater is
equipped with a safety system that detects  any abnormally high temperatures within  the heater and automatically shuts it off to  prevent overheating.
Thermal back-up fuse
In addition to this automatic cut-off, your
heater contains a thermal back-up fuse to  provide additional back-up protection. If  the heater is in an overheat situation, the  back-up fuse will open, stopping the power  flow to the heating element and fan. This  fuse cannot be reset, so in the event that  the back-up fuse is activated, the heater  will need to be replaced.

Power ON light
Illuminates to indicate that the heater  is connected to the power outlet and  is switched on.
Ceramic element
The 2400 watt ceramic element is more efficient than  other element types as it converts more electricity into  heat that is transferred into the room.
It also self-regulates the energy flow depending on the  temperature for added safety. If the ceramic gets too hot,  electricity cannot pass through it.
Ceramic elements are safer than other element types,  as they operate at temperatures below the ignition  temperature of highly flammable materials like tissue  paper.
Oscillation function
The heater oscillates 70 degrees to provide greater  heat distribution. Simply press the OSC button  (OSC) to activate this function.
Two heat settings
Two heat settings allow you to adjust the heat and  airflow of the heater. When using the thermostat, select  setting 2 to reach the desired heat level more quickly.
Fan setting
Ideal for circulating cool air in summer, the fan setting  operates the fan without heat.

Using your heater
HE2300 Oscillating Twinheat Ceramic Heater
1. Place the heater on a flat level surface and  ensure that the air intake and outlet are  clear of obstructions.
2. Insert the plug into a 230/240V power  outlet and turn the power on.
3. Turn the thermostat dial to the highest  setting by rotating the dial clockwise as far  as it will turn.
4. Turn the mode dial to the desired heat  setting, I or II.
5. To use the fan without heat, set the  thermostat dial to the lowest setting and  select the fan setting on the mode selector  dial.
Setting the thermostat
1. Set the thermostat to the highest setting by  turning the dial clockwise as far as it will  turn.
2. When the room has reached the desired  temperature level, lower the thermostat  setting by turning the thermostat dial anticlockwise until it clicks. The heater will  stop operating.
3. The thermostat is now set and will  automatically maintain the pre-set  temperature level by switching between the  high (II) and low (I) settings.
Note: When set to the high setting it is
normal for the heater to cycle between  high and low as it maintains the preset  temperature. The heat output does not  vary when the heater is set to the low  heat setting (I). To prevent the unit from  cycling, raise the thermostat setting.
Adjusting the swivel housing
The revolutionary vertical twin housing allows  heat to travel in two different directions for  maximum heat distribution.
Carefully rotate each housing to direct the  airflow in the desired direction. Do not swivel  the unit beyond the point of resistance.
Using the Oscillation Function
The 70 degree oscillation function can be  used on any setting.
1. Press the oscillation button (OSC),  positioned on the top of the heater. The heater will begin to oscillate from side to side.
2. To stop the heater from oscillating, simply press the (OSC) button once again.
