Guarantee naturally does not cover misuse
or negligent handling, and excludes
breakables such as glass or ceramic items,
and normal wear and tear.

Guarantee does not cover damage to

or other substances leaking from your
appliance, nor does it cover freight costs.

to the conditions and guarantees which

1. Do not use on varicose veins or other
swollen or inflamed areas.
2. Do not use if you have skin disorders or
open wounds.
3. If you are pregnant or suffer from diabetes
consult your health care practitioner before
using.
4. Do not use if you have tuberculosis,
tumours, phlebitis, hemorrhages or
thrombosis.
5. The product must not be used on acute
injuries, bruised skin or on sprains.
6. Do not use over pace makers.
7. Do not use the massager for more than 20
minutes per session. Switch off and rest
the unit for 20 minutes before using again
or storing.
8. Do not cover. Do not use under a blanket
or pillow.
9. Do not use outdoors.
10. Do not use when intending to sleep.
11. Keep out of the reach of children.
12. This appliance is not to be used by
children or invalids without adequate adult
supervision.
13. This appliance will get hot. Care should
be exercised with invalids and persons
insensitive to heat.
14. Discontinue use immediately should you
feel any discomfort or pain.

Care and Cleaning
1. Do not immerse the product in water
2. Before cleaning always switch off and
remove the adaptor from the socket with
clean, dry hands
3. The massager can be wiped with a slightly
moist cloth and dried thoroughly.

Sunbeam’s Safety Precautions
1. Read carefully and save all the instructions provided with an appliance.
2. Always turn the power off at the power outlet before you insert or remove a plug. Remove by grasping the plug - do not pull on the cord.
3. Turn the power off and remove the plug when the appliance is not in use and before cleaning.
4. Do not use your appliance with an extension cord unless this cord has been checked and tested by a qualified technician or service person.
5. Always use your appliance from a power outlet of the voltage (A.C. only) marked on the appliance.
6. This appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons unless they have been adequately super vised by a responsible adult to ensure that they can use the appliance safely.
7. Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
8. Do not use an appliance for any purpose other than its intended use.
9. Do not place an appliance on or near a hot gas flame, electric element or on a heated oven. Do not place on top of any other appliance.
10. Do not let the power cord of an appliance hang over the edge of a table or bench top or touch any hot surface.
11. For safety reasons and to avoid maintenance by unskilled persons, some appliances are ‘sealed’ using tamperproof screws. Such appliances should always be returned to the nearest Sunbeam Appointed Service Centre for adjustment or repair if required.
12. Do not operate any electrical appliance with a damaged cord or after the appliance has been dropped or damaged in any manner. If damage is suspected, return the appliance to the nearest Sunbeam Appointed Service Centre for examination, repair or adjustment.
13. For additional protection, Sunbeam recommend the use of a residual current device (RCD) with a tripping current not exceeding 30mA in the electrical circuit supplying power to your appliances.
14. Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid unless recommended.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS FOR ALL ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES
Sunbeam are very safety conscious when designing and manufacturing consumer products, but it is essential that the product user also exercises care when using an electrical appliance. Listed below are precautions which are essential for the safe use of an electrical appliance:

1. Place the appliance on a suitable chair and fasten using the elastic straps on the back of the massager.
2. Ensure that the appliance is switched off and then connect the adaptor output to the input jack.
3. Plug the adaptor plug into a suitable power outlet and switch on.
4. Do not use for more than 20 minutes at a time.
5. If discomfort occurs, discontinue use immediately.
MASSAGE OPTIONS
1. You can choose to massage one particular area of your back or choose all areas together.
2. Choose the’ neck’ option to massage the neck and shoulders.
3. Choose the ‘upper’ option to massage the upper back.
4. Choose the ‘lower’ option to massage the lower back.
5. Choose the ‘heat’ option to apply soothing heat to the lower back.
6. There are 2 massage settings. Choose setting I for a relaxing massage and choose setting II for a more invigorating massage
USING THE CAR ADAPTOR
1. Plug the cigarette lighter adaptor into the car cigarette lighter socket.
2. The appliance is designed to operate on a 12V power supply. Do not connect to any other power source.
3. Operate as above.
USING THE LUMBAR SUPPORT
1. The appliance has built in lumbar support for added comfort.
2. To add support simply squeeze the air pump until you have reached your desired level. Keep fingers away from the air release valve when pumping air.
3. To release the air support, depress the air release valve at the bottom of the pump
