17. LOOP CORD LOOSELY WHEN STORING, TIGHT
WRAPPING MAY DAMAGE CORD AND INTERNAL

Renue® Heat Wrap is specifically designed to fit the neck and shoulder area, where users experience
many physical signs of tension and stress. Drape the Renue® Heat Wrap comfortably around your
shoulders making sure that the neck flap is properly in place. Weighted edges and a hook closure
help to secure Renue® Heat Wrap in place.

HOW TO APPLY YOUR HEATING PAD

Heating pads are effective pain relievers to soothe muscle and joint pain. The Renue® Heat Wrap with
XpressHeat® Technology is specifically designed to fit the back of the neck, shoulders, and upper
back.

NOTE: Always consult with your physician or health professional for recommended treatment of an
injury or chronic muscle or joint pain.

1. Drape the pad comfortably over your shoulders.

2. Once in place, secure the pad by connecting the hook closures on either end of the shoulders
(Figure 1, Number 3).

3. To remove pad, detach the hook closures, and lift the pad off of your shoulders.

HOW TO USE YOUR HEATING PAD

1. Make sure the Control Connector (Figure 3, Letter A)

is securely attached to the Pad Connector (Figure 3,
Letter B) until they are tightly joined together.

2. Plug into 120V AC electrical outlet.

3. To turn the pad on, press the Heat Control Button (Figure 2, Letter A).

4. Select from 4 heat settings (High, Medium, Low, and Warm)

by repeatedly pressing the Heat Control Button until the
desired heat setting indicator lights up (Figure 2, Letter B).

5. To turn the pad off, press the Heat Control Button

repeatedly until all of the indicator lights turn off.

CAUTION:

• DO NOT SIT ON, LEAN AGAINST, CRUSH OR FOLD PAD DURING

USE.

• DO NOT USE WHILE SLEEPING.

• SEE ADDITIONAL WARNINGS IN THE IMPORTANT SAFETY

AUTO-OFF FEATURE

Your heating pad controller includes an Auto-Off feature. This feature is designed to conserve energy
by automatically turning off after 2 hours of continuous use. The Auto-Off Indicator (Figure 2, Letter
C) will flash when the Auto-Off feature is activated and the pad shuts off. To reset after Auto-Off,
press the Heat Control Button until the desired heat setting is reached.

NOTE: After a power outage, the Auto-Off feature automatically resets the time.

HOW TO USE YOUR HEATING PAD WITH MOIST HEAT THERAPY

Moist heat provides deep, penetrating pain relief. When using moist heat therapy,
you should protect furniture and clothing from becoming damp.

1. Dampen the body side of the heating pad with water by patting the surface with a wet

sponge or cloth, or use a spray bottle to apply a fine mist. Do not thoroughly soak pad.

2. Do not spray or dampen the pad connector or the control connector.

DANGER: DO NOT IMMERSE THE PAD OR WIRING IN WATER OR PLACE UNDER RUNNING WATER.
FAILURE TO COMPLY MAY RESULT IN PRODUCT FAILURE AND/OR PERSONAL INJURY. THE ELECTRICAL
PAD CONNECTOR MUST BE THOROUGHLY DRY BEFORE ESTABLISHING ELECTRICAL CONNECTION.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

CAUTION: DO NOT DRY CLEAN! DO NOT BLEACH! DO NOT USE WRINGER! DO NOT IRON!

1. Disconnect pad from outlet. DO NOT PULL BY THE CORD.

2. Disconnect controller from pad by firmly pulling
Control Connector (Figure 3, Letter A) and the Pad
Connector (Figure 3, Letter B) away from each other
until they are completely separated.

3. Machine wash pad in cold water on gentle cycle or
hand wash. Tumble dry on low heat and remove
promptly from dryer or drape to dry.

4. DO NOT plug Control Connector into Pad Connector until completely dry.

1. Verify tight connection between pad and controller.

2. Verify AC outlet is functional.

3. Verify no physical damage to the cord, controller or pad.
If failure continues, discontinue use. See warranty information to
contact Sunbeam Consumer Service.

• Ensure that the body side of the pad is laying against the body.

Auto-Off feature is set to turn the unit off after 2 hours of continuous
use.

• To re-start unit, press the Heat Control Button until desired heat
setting is reached.

The 'High' Heat Setting Indicator light will start flashing when
connection is broken between pad and controller while using the
product.

1. To reset, simply connect pad & controller together and press the

Heat Control Button until desired heat setting is reached.

2. If flashing light persists, an error has occurred. Discontinue use

of the product and see warranty information to contact Sunbeam
Customer Service.

that for a period of five (5) years from the date of initial retail purchase, this product will be
free from defects in material and workmanship, when used in accordance with the instructions
provided.

Sunbeam (or NBC), at its option, will repair or replace this product or any component of the product
found to be defective during the warranty period.

Replacement will be made with a new or remanufactured product or component. If the product is
no longer available, replacement may be made with a similar product of equal or greater value.
This is your exclusive warranty. Do NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical
functions on this product. Doing so will void this warranty.

This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial retail purchase and is
not transferable. Keep the original sales receipt. Proof of purchase is required to obtain warranty
performance. Sunbeam (or NBC) dealers, service centers, or retail stores selling Sunbeam (or
NBC) products do not have the right to alter, modify or any way change the terms and conditions
of this warranty.

This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any of the following:
negligent use or misuse of the product, use on improper voltage or current, use contrary to the
operating instructions, disassembly, repair or alteration by anyone other than Sunbeam (or NBC) or
an authorized Sunbeam (or NBC) service center. Further, the warranty does not cover: Acts of God,

CÓMO APLICAR SU ALMOHADILLA TÉRMICA

Almohadillas térmicas son analgésicos efectivos para calmar el dolor muscular y articular. La
almohadilla térmica envoltoria Renue® con tecnología XpressHeat® está específicamente diseñada
para adaptarse a la parte posterior del cuello, los hombros y la parte superior de la espalda.

NOTA: Siempre consulte con su médico o profesional de la salud para el tratamiento recomendado
para una lesión o dolor muscular o articular crónico.

1. Coloque la almohadilla cómodamente sobre sus hombros.

2. Una vez en su lugar, asegure la almohadilla conectando los cierres de gancho en cada extremo de

3. Para quitar la almohadilla, separe los cierres de gancho y levante la almohadilla de sus hombros.

CÓMO USAR SU ALMOHADILLA ELÉTRICA

1. Asegúrese de que el conector de control (Figura 3,

Letra A) esté firmemente sujeto al conector de la almohadilla
(Figura 3, Letra B) de tal manera que estén bien unidos.

2. Enchufe a un tomacorriente de 120V AC.

3. Para encender el teclado, presione el Botón de

Control de Calor (Figura 2, Letra A).

4. Seleccione entre 4 configuraciones de calor: alto, medio,

bajo o cálido, presionando repetidamente el Botón de
Control de Calor hasta que se encienda el Indicador
de Ajuste de Calor deseado (Figura 2, Letra B).

5. Para apagar la almohadilla, presione el Botón de

Control de Calor repetidamente hasta que todas las
luces Indicadoras de Ajuste de Calor se apaguen.

FUNCIÓN DE APAGADO AUTOMÁTICO

El controlador de la almohadilla eléctrica incluye una función de apagado automático. Esta
característica está diseñada para su comodidad y para ahorrar energía al apagarse automáticamente
después de 2 horas de uso continuo. El indicador de apagado automático (Figura 2, Letra C)
parpadeará cuando la función de apagado automático esté activada y el teclado se apague. Para
reiniciar, presione el botón de control hasta alcanzar el ajuste de calor deseado.

NOTA: Después de un corte de energía, la función de apagado automático restablece
automáticamente el tiempo de duración.

CÓMO UTILIZAR SU ALMOHADILLA TÉRMICA CON TERAPIA DE
CALOR HÚMEDO

El calor húmedo brinda un alivio profundo y penetrante del dolor. Al utilizar la terapia
de calor húmedo, debe proteger los muebles y la ropa de la humedad.

1. Humedezca con agua el lado del cuerpo de la almohadilla térmica pasándole
una esponja o paño húmedo a la superficie, o use una botella de spray para
aplicar un rocío fino. No sumerja completamente la almohadilla.

2. No rocíe ni humedezca el conector de la almohadilla o el conector del control (Figura 3).

COLOQUE DEBAJO DE UN CHORRO DE AGUA. SI NO CUMPLE CON ESTO PUEDE CAUSAR

INSTRUCCIONES DE LAVADO

1. Desconecte la almohadilla del tomacorriente. NO TIRE DEL CABLE.

2. Desconecte el controlador de la almohadilla tirando
firmemente del conector de control (Figura 3, Letra A) y
el conector de la almohadilla (Figura 3, Letra B) uno del
otro hasta que estén completamente separados.

3. Lave la almohadilla en la lavadora con agua fría y
en ciclo delicado o lávela a mano. Séquela en ciclo
delicado y retírela rápidamente de la secadora o
cuélguela para secar.

4. NO enchufe el conector de control en el conector de la almohadilla hasta que esté completamente
seco.
