Iron is designed to rest on the heel rest.
Do not leave the iron unattended. Do not set the iron
on an unprotected surface, even if it is on its heel rest.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

This is a 400 watt appliance.. To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate another high wattage appliance on the same circuit.

If an extension cord is absolutely necessary, a lo-ampere cord should be used. Cords rated for less amperage may overheat. Care should
be taken to arrange the cord so that it cannot be pulled or tripped over.

This appliance was set at the factory to operate at
120 Volts. Refer to Operating Instructions Section
of this manual for conversion to 240 Volt operation.

Be sure dual voltage selector is in the correct voltage
position before operation. Before plugging iron into
outlet, read the information about dual voltage operation in the “Voltage” section of this manual.

To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this appliance has a polarized plug (one
other). This plug fits a polarized outlet only one way; if the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.

Be sure the dual voltage selector is in the correct position before operating. In North America the voltage selector switch should be placed in the 120 volt position.

will automatically rise to the upright position and lock into place.

IMPORTANT: Always turn the fabric
select dial to OFF and disconnect iron from electrical outlet before filling or emptying the water tank.
Slide the water tank release button backwards (See Figure 3) and hold into position with one hand. Lift water tank to remove from iron with the other hand (See Figure 4).
