Upright refrigerator - freezer (hereinafter: the appliance) composed of two parts: the upper
compartment is a refrigerator and the lower compartment is a freezer.
Refrigerator is used for the storage of fresh foods at temperatures above 32°F. Freezer is used for freezing fresh foods and the storage of frozen foods for up to one year
(depending on the type of food).

• Before connecting the appliance, read these instructions carefully.
• The appliance is manufactured in compliance with all relevant safety standards; however, it is recommended that persons with impaired physical, emotional, or mental abilities, or persons with inadequate experience and knowledge, do not use the appliance without due supervision. The same recommendation applies to minors using the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be done by children without supervision.
• The appliance must be connected to the electrical supply in accordance with the standing regulations and local requirements.
• The appliance must not be used in open air or exposed to rain or other precipitation.
• Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply (pull the power cord from wall socket) before cleaning and before replacing the light bulb.
• If the power supply cord is damaged, in order to avoid hazard it must be replaced only by qualifi ed personnel.
• In the event of long periods without use, switch off the appliance with the ON/OFF button and disconnect it from the wall socket. Empty the appliance, clean the interior and leave the door ajar.
• For the protection of the environment, please contact local authorities for correct disposal arrangements.
• Never let children play with the appliance.

• Before connecting the appliance, read these instructions carefully. They describe the appliance and provide instructions for its safe and correct use.
• Remove the wrapping protecting the appliance during transport.
• Door corners are fi tted with protective spacers. Remove the spacers and replace them with the attached pegs.
• Before connecting the appliance to the electrical supply, leave it in the upright position for about 2 hours. This will reduce the possibility of malfunctions in the cooling system resulting from prior transport and handling.
• The packaging of this appliance contains environmentally friendly materials which can be recycled, recovered or disposed of without threat to the environment.
• A rating plate with basic information is located in the interior of the appliance.

• Drawers are protected against accidental extraction. To remove the drawer from the appliance, open it and lift front part upwards, then pull it out.

• Place the appliance in a dry and well-aired room. Ambient temperature should never be lower than 41°F.
Positioning the appliance requires two persons in order to avoid injuries or damage to the appliance.
• Place the appliance fl at and fi rmly on a solid base. The appliance is fi tted with adjustable feet on the front side, used to level the appliance. The rear side of the appliance is fi tted with wheels facilitating the positioning of the appliance at the preselected place.
• Allow at least 2 inches of space above the appliance to ensure suffi cient cooling of the condenser.
• Avoid exposing the appliance to direct sunlight or heat sources. If this is not possible, install an insulation plate between the appliance and the adjacent heat source.
• The bottom front corners of the appliance are fi tted with handles to facilitate moving. The appliance may stand independently or adjacent to a wall, cabinet or other appiance. Be sure to leave enough space for the opening of the door, to avoid damage to the appliance or personal injury. Also leave ample space for removing shelves (see installation diagram).
Two spacers attached to the appliance must be fi tted onto the upper edge of the condenser, thus preventing the appliance from being installed too close to the wall.
