1) SAFE GUARD INSTRUCTIONS
For all appliances:
● the product shall be installed according with the a statement that the installation must conform with local
codes or, in absence of local codes, with the National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1/NFPA 54.
● The product must be electrically grounded in accordance with local codes or, in the absence of local
codes, with the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70.
● The appliance and its individual shutoff valve must be disconnected from the gas supply piping system
during any pressure testing of that system at test pressure in excess of ½ psi (3.5 kPa). The maximun
gas supply pressure is 4 inch WC and 11 inch WC and the gas pressure regulator provided is regulated
to 1 inch water column above the manufacturer’s specified manihold pressure.
● Always disconnect all cord connect appliances shall include instructions relative to location ot the wall
receptacle and the warning to the user to disconnect the electrical supply before servicing the
appliance.
● Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity of this or any other
appliance.
● WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS
- Do not try to light any appliance.
- Do not touch any electrical switch; do not use any phone in your building.
- Immediately call your gas supplier from a neighbor’s phone.
Follow the gas supplier’s instructions.
- If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call the fire department.
● Installation and service must be performed by a qualified installer; service agency or
the gas supplier.
● Save any nozzles removed from the appliance for future use.
● The maximum depth of cabinets installed above the cooktop should be 13 inches (330 mm).
● Keep the appliance clear and free from combustible materials, gasoline and other flammable vapors
and liquids.
● Do not obstruct the flow of gas or block any air vents.
