2. THERMOSTAT CONTROL
The temperature of the freezer is automatically controlled
by the thermostat setting. The thermostat is preset at the
factory for normal use.
If you require a colder temperature within the freezer, turn
the thermostat knob to a higher number (clockwise).
If you require a warmer temperature within the freezer,
turn the thermostat knob to a lower number (counter
clockwise).
3. DEFROSTING
For the most efficient operation of the freezer with the
minimum electricity consumption, please keep the freezer
clear of frost. The frost should be removed as often as
possible using a plastic ice scraper. The resulting “snow”
should be removed from the cabinet. This procedure will
allow uninterrupted use of the freezer.
If the layer of frost exceeds ¼ inch, we recommend that
you completely defrost the freezer by following this
procedure:
A. Remove all products from the freezer
B. Open the lid(s) and disconnect the plug.
C. Remove as much frost as possible with a plastic ice
scraper.
D. Dry the interior entirely with soft cloth.
E. Reconnect the plug before placing product back in.
2
CAUTION: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SCRAPE OR PRY
FROST AWAY WITH SHARP OBJECTS.
4. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
It is recommended that the freezer be cleaned occasionally.
Freezer body – Clean with a dry cloth. If there are any
stubborn stains use hot water, if necessary, with a mild
detergent. Rinse well and dry.
Inner walls – Defrost as recommended in the previous page.
Clean with warm water. Do not use corrosive detergents.
5. LONG TERM STORAGE
If the freezer is to be kept idle for extended periods of time
please follow the following procedure:
A. Remove plug from outlet.
B. Defrost and clean the freezer thoroughly.
C.Leave lids in open position to avoid formations of
condensation, mold or odors.
THANK YOU FOR HAVING READ THE
INSTRUCTIONS WHICH WE HOPE YOU WILL
