You can select with the “ok button” and exit with the “m” button. move up and down left
and right with the arrow buttons.
Set the camera to the following:
1. Cam ID: “on or off” you can decide to name it or not (this will also show on the
photo’s)
2. Cam Mode: this must be on “photo” to send mms or emails (if you want to record
video the camera will not send a mms or email when video is on)
3. Image Size: select 5mp- 12mp (remember that the photo sent to your phone is not
the quality selected here and will be a compressed file only, so 5mp is ok)
4. Night Mode: choose the one you need (“balanced” recommended)
5. Multi-Shot: to 1p – 5p (this is the number of photos taken per movement but only
the last one taken will be sent via mms or email. make sure you select the correct
setting. (for most applications select 1p)
6. Video Size: does not matter
7. Video Length: does not matter
(to move across to the next column PIR make sure the cam is highlighted in red and
press the right arrow)
8. Sensitivity: set to “middle”
9. Delay: must be “on” and set to min 15 sec (you can make the delay longer if too
many photo’s are sent or you need a longer time between photo’s)
10. Time Lapse: must be “off”
11. Timer: select “off” to work 24h (a full day), “on” if only part of a day and set the
time. (please note: the camera can send you a few pictures during the “off time” if
timer is on. this is only to confirm standby and battery life is still ok)
(to highlight PIR to move across to 3g press the up arrow if not in red) ( if you cannot
select the country set option in the menu your GPRS switch is off.... please switch “on”
and start the camera up again)
12. Country Set: select “South Africa” and then select your service provider (MTN,
Vodacom, Cell C) once selected you will need to press the “m” button once to exit.
13. # Mms Setup: confirm it is “on” if you want to use mms only. (do not change any
other settings in here) if you want to send email to email this must be “off”
14. # SMTP Setup: confirm it is “on” if you want to send email to email if you want to
send via mms this must be “off”
To setup SMTP for email to email: open SMTP and turn “on”
