This is the B1 mic clip, as you take it out of the box.

FIGURE 2 OF 5
The tension adjustment screw is covered by a round cover (one on each side of the mic clip, two total). To remove the cover, grip the cover on both sides as shown, and gently but firmly rock it straight out towards you, until you can see a small gap between the sides of the cover and the mic clip. Be very careful while doing this, especially if you want to put the covers back on the clip after adjustment, because the covers are held onto the clip by a very small plastic "pin", molded into the bottom of the cover. The pin fits into a small hole in the bottom of the mic clip, and is held in place by a "friction fit", and is easily broken if you pull sideways or down on the cover while loosening or removing it.

FIGURE 3 OF 5
Put the finger nails of your index fingers into the small gap between the cover and the mic clip at about the 4 o'clock and 8 o'clock positions; rest your thumbs on the neck of the clip for leverage. Gently but firmly pry the cover straight away (perpendicular) from the body of the clip. The small plastic pin in the bottom of the cover will pop out of the hole in the bottom of the mic clip.

The tension adjustment screw is exposed. Do this cover removal procedure to both sides of the mic clip.

You can then tighten the tension of the clip by turning the tension adjustment screw clockwise with a large flat-blade screwdriver (a U.S. dime works well in a pinch too). Do this to both sides of the mic clip.
Voila! No more droopy B1 mic! You can then press the covers back onto the clip again if you want, or
leave them off for easy future tension adjustments.
