Genius Plus operating software provides the primary functionality for the Strand 430, 530
and Strand 550 high-capability console hardware platforms. Available as a 100 channel
starter pack and 50 or 200 channel incremental channel upgrades, Genius Plus provides a
maximum of 350 intensity channels (plus 250 attributes) for the Strand 430 and 1500
intensity channels (plus 500 attributes) for the Strand 530 and Strand 550. Operations
manual and software is supplied with a choice of languages.
Alternative Operating Software called Lightpalette™ provides similar functionality to Genius
Plus, but with an operator interface pre-configured to the Strand Lightpalette 90 method of
operation (available end 1995).
Application software is available to add optional functionality to Genius Plus or Lightpalette
operating software if required. All software packages are described in separate data sheets.
