CARE AND MAINTENANCE
You hav e purchased a qualit y product that will gi ve you years of enj oym ent. By followi ng these simple maint ena nce steps, you wi ll add to the life of your n ew table.
TH E TAB LE TO P
The top (playing surface) of your tabl e is ma de o f Pa rti cle Board. Like all products mad e of wood, it can b e affec ted by a tmospheric changes in both tempera ture an d humid ity. Th is may caus e a slight sag or distortion a s the to p expa nds or c ontracts. This is normal and should no t caus e c oncern as it does no t det ract from the pla y or utility value of th e table. After assem bly of the table, y ou can minimize the e ffe cts of temp erature an d humidity changes by stor ing the table in a dry area when table is n ot in use.
ST ORAGE OF YOUR TABL E
This ta ble must be stored ind oors to prevent dama ge to the playing s urface. Dampness a nd extreme tempe rat ure changes can cause the wood to warp, swell, crack or blist er. When your table is not in use, it should be stored i n a dry area . D ue to the nature of particle boar d, table t op may bo w. Damp an d hum id conditions w ill amplify this. Th is is normal and will no t affect playability of table.
CL EANING Y OUR TABL E
To clea n you r table use a soft, d amp (NOT WET) cloth on ly. To prevent da mag e to your table’s p laying surface, D O NOT USE ANY CHEMI CALS, AB RAS IVE OR CLEANING PR ODUCTS on your table ’s playing surface.
MA INTENAN CE OF YOUR TABL E
Be sure t o oil all moving parts o f your table includi ng the pivot poin ts. This will insure t he safety and ease of use of your t able.
This ta ble must be kept i ndoors to prevent d amage to the pl aying surf ace. Dampness and extreme tempe rat ure changes whi ch occur on patios or si milar areas can c ause wood to warp, swe ll, crack or blister.
UN LEVEL FL OORS
If tabl e doe s not seem level, i t is probably due to une ven or unlevel fl oor s. Set the table in i ts PLAYING POSITION and move table sev eral inches in diffe rent directio ns to find the best loca tion for the table. If the fl oor i s extremely unlev el, table may not play o r operate properly . If table is high in the cent er, shim up un der the outer legs.
TRANSPORTING THE FOLDED TABLE TOPS
It is recommended to keep the carton for folded table storage and or transport. Also, note when folded, the table has casters on the bottom side to make movement easier. When transporting the folded half tops, be careful not to damage the lower corners or scratch the playing surfaces.
