technology that we developed in the 1980s was

a world first that saved both human energy and

fossil fuels. Today, the method, which means

that you cut and fertilize in one process (and even

retain water at the grass roots), is a natural part

of the cycle.

articulated steering, which means that the rear wheels follow

precisely in the front wheel tracks, has still not yet been success-

FIRST WITH A FRONT-MOUNTED DECK. Being able to see

Choose the right rider!

Flat or hilly terrain? Large open areas or areas with plants or trees? Lots of, or little energy for gardening? Many

factors other than plot size affect your decision when you choose a ride-on lawn mower. Let us help make your

choice easier.

Hilly terrain?

Choose a ride-on mower with four-wheel drive and you will neither slip nor leave

tracks. You can drive, stop and start again on wet grass without losing control or

damaging the grass. The more powerful the engine the better!

Large areas?

The wider the cutting width, the faster cutting will go. The tractors range from

63 to 122 cm. The Combi deck for Villa and Park is available from 85 to 105 cm.

The professional cutting deck for Park has three blades and a cutting width from

110 to 125 cm.

Are there many obstacles?

Choose a front-mounted cutting deck so that you can see where you are cutting

and cut close to rockeries and under bushes. Villa or Park for larger areas, Primo

for smaller areas.

Short of time?

The new Combi deck supplied with Villa and Park means that you can choose

between Multiclip and rear discharge. Multiclip means that you can mow and fer-

tilize at the same time. The grass cuttings are returned to the lawn as nourishment.

The work is faster, quieter and requires less fuel.

Front mowers

Stay on top!

Front mower or garden tractor? It is a question of manoeuvrability. In open spaces

a tractor is an excellent choice. If there are lots of trees and bushes it is easier with

a front-mounted cutting deck. You can see the difference.

MANOEUVRABILITY. The articulated steering means that

the rear wheels follow exactly in the front wheel tracks. You

have full control and can easily navigate around bushes and

trees without running into them.

LESS WORK AFTERWARDS. Because the cutting deck

is at the front, nothing is missed. You avoid having to trim

afterwards.

TWO-IN-ONE. The new Combi cutting deck combines two

cutting technologies: The Multiclip mows and fertilizes at the

same time. If the grass gets too long you can change to rear

discharge.

ALL-TERRAIN. The four-wheel drive which is fitted to sev-

eral lawn mowers means that you get good grip and can stop

and start on a slope without the wheels spinning and damaging

the lawn. Recommended in hilly terrain.

VERSATILITY. Park and Villa are year-round machines with

large implement ranges (see pages 22–27). From brush units

and trailers to snow blades and snow blowers.

Trac tors

CAPACITY. A lot of engine and cutting capacity for the money,

particularly effective on open spaces. Garden is recommended for

up to 1000 m

COMPACT. If the choice is between a walk-behind and a ride-on

lawn mower, then Garden Compact is an excellent alternative.

Thanks to the compact format, it can operate in tight spaces and

requires minimal storage area.

COLLECTION AND MULTICLIP. Both cutting technologies

are included on Estate as standard. If the grass gets too long between

cuts, add a deflector and run with rear discharge.

NOW EVEN SMOOTHER. With straighter chutes and an even

more spacious collector, you can suck up every last blade of grass.

You can empty the collector from the seat. Certain models have an

electric lift, so it is enough just to press the button.

. For larger areas, Estate is better.

LONG SEASON. The implement range (see pages 22 and 31)

means that Estate tractors can also earn their keep as leaf and snow

clearers and also as implement carriers – depending on the season.

FRONT MOWERS – PRIMO

Rider of the year!

Primo represents a new generation of compact Front mowers from Stiga aimed at design-conscious

homeowners. Featuring rear-wheel steering and easy-to-use single hand controls, it reduces the time and

effort spent in the garden.

The idea was to create a vehicle, which is manoeuvred and mows as well as the big Front mowers, and

which you can be proud to park on your driveway. Material and construction, comfort and convenience,

road grip and performance – the thinking is the same as in a modern car. Primo is the name, since it is

one of a kind.

PRI MO

Primo is built on a self-supporting frame in the same material as the hardtop in cabriolets and cast in a single piece, which imparts strength to the construction. Integrated design is the key word. Excellent maneouvrability and high cutting capacity come with the factory-mounted 78 cm Combi cutting deck. Stiga 12.5 hp engine.

STIGA PRIMO

FRONT MOWERS – VILLA

Versatility for home owners.

Excellent manoeuvrability. Good cutting results. Impressive range of implements. The home owner’s faith-

ful companion, Villa, combines the Front mower’s cutting performance with the small rider’s agility. Engines

in the Villa series range from 12.5 to 15.5 hp, with either with manual gearbox or hydrostatic transmission.

All models are equipped with the new Combi deck, which lets you switch between Multiclip and rear

discharge.

VILLA 16 HST

HST means that the machine has a hydrostatic drive, i.e. the speed is infinitely variably controlled, both forwards and reverse. It’s unbelievably smooth and ideal if you have a garden with trees, bushes and plants to mow around. The engine is a powerful Briggs & Stratton producing 15.5 hp, featuring electric continuous cutting height adjustment controlled from the front panel for easy selection of the right cutting height. The 105 cm working width, high-performance Combi cutting deck provides both Multiclip and rear discharge.

FRONT MOWERS – VILLA

VILLA 14 HST

As above, but with a 13.5 hp B&S engine, 95 cm Combi deck and foot-controlled deck lift. Featuring hydrostatic transmission (HST) for easy manoeuverability.

VILLA 12

The engine is a Briggs & Stratton producing 12.5 hp. The manual gearbox has five forward gears and one reverse. A new high-performance Combi cutting deck with a 85 cm cutting width gives a choice of Multiclip and rear discharge. High driver comfort is assured with an adjustable ergonomic seat.

Think like a pro!

With the Stiga Park 4WD almost anything is possible. You can climb wet slopes unhindered, stop and

start again, without slipping and causing damage. In addition, the front-mounted deck gives you full

mowing control and can get really, really close-in to trees and under bushes. With genuine articulated

steering the rear wheels follow the tracks of the front wheels. Precisely and every time, whether you are

cutting grass in the summer or clearing snow in the winter.

FRONT MOWERS – PARK

Efficiency defined.

Front-mounted cutting deck and genuine articulated steering are signatures of the Park range, and the four-

wheel drive – now available on all models – is an extra impressive feature. If you need more reasons to choose

Park, we suggest that you take a closer look at the cutting width, engine power, instrument panel and con-

trols. Everything, including the cutting height setting on the top models, is controlled from the driver’s seat,

with a lever or by pushing a button. Diesel or petrol power is a matter of taste, manual or stepless hydrostatic

gearbox a question of comfort. In addition, there is a vast range of implements (see page 23), which means

that you can use it all year round. To plough, sand, sweep, collect leaves... you name it!

PARK COMPACT 16 4WD

Our smallest 4WD is the perfect choice for those of you who wish to enter the wonderful world of four-wheel drive. It is a flexible Front mower with hydrostatic drive that you can easily manoeuvre around your garden, without leaving skid marks in the event of hill stops and starts. The engine is a Briggs & Stratton producing 15.5 hp.

PARK PREST IGE 4WD

Prestige has a powerful Kohler engine producing 18 hp. Electric cutting height adjustment and hinged engine cover. Extremely comfortable with, pivot suspension, adjustable steering wheel and single-lever control for adjusting the tipping of the comfort seat with its high back rest.

PARK DIE SEL

A two-wheel drive machine featuring electric cutting height adjustment and hinged engine cover, with mechanical servo assisted steering, manual implement lift and pivot sprung seat. Equipped with a Hatz diesel engine for economical and demanding work. Available with Combi Pro deck with 125 cm cutting width.

PARK DIE SEL 4WD

Same engine as above combined with 4WD to produce even higher torque. Also featuring hydraulic deck lift, cruise control, hydraulic power steering as well as parallel comfort seat springs and arm rest for extra comfort.

PARK COMFORT

Briggs & Stratton engine producing 15.5 hp and infinitely variable hydrostatic drive, forward and reverse. New high-performance Combi deck. Extremely comfortable with a single-lever control for adjusting the pivot comfort sprung seat, electric cutting height adjustment and hinged engine cover for easy access to the engine and re-fuelling.

PARK ROYAL

Has a 2-cylinder Honda engine producing 16 hp with hydrostatic drive. Extremely comfortable with a single lever to adjust the pivot sprung seat. Electric cutting height adjustment and hinged engine cover for easy access to the engine and re-fuelling. Swan marked.

So easy to manoeuvre. It almost drives itself.

Articulated steering is the secret. You sit above the pivot point and look ahead over the cutting deck. It is easy to turn and easy to

navigate around bushes, trees and fences, because the back wheels follow the track of those at the front. It is an incredible feeling,

almost as if it drives itself. Test drive and experience the feeling of freedom! Combined with 4WD you can stop and go almost

anyhwere without slipping, including slippery slopes and snow-covered driveways.

FRONT MOWERS – PARK PRO

PARK PRO 25 4WD

Our ”top-of-the-range” machine with hydraulic four-wheel drive, power steering, hydrostatic gearbox and hydraulic implement lift. It has electric cutting height adjustment, electric cutter deck engagement and cruise control. Fantastic driver comfort. Kohler Command Pro engine producing 25 hp. Cutting width 95-125 cm.

PARK PRO 20 4W D

Has the same equipment, features and fantastic comfort as the Pro 25 4WD. The difference being that it has a Vanguard engine from Briggs & Stratton producing 20 hp.

PARK PRO 16 4WD

Has mechanical power steering, foot-controlled lift and electric deck engagement. Fantastic driver comfort. Vanguard engine from Briggs & Stratton producing 16 hp.

PARK PRO SWAN 4WD

Swan for the professional market. Specification as for Pro 25 4WD, but with a twin-cylinder Honda GXV 530 engine producing 16 hp. The engine is quiet with low emissions and is therefore one of the reasons why the model is Swan marked.

COMBI DECK

Two cutting techniques in one.

Stiga has developed a range of high-performance cutting decks, which let you choose between Multiclip and rear

discharge. The Multiclip system recycles grass clippings, and the grass becomes fertilizer for your lawn. Rear dis-

charge deposits the grass behind the machine, a method which is suitable when the grass is long.

To get the perfect cutting result, it is necessary to adjust the cutting height in small steps. These decks have

continuous electric cutting height adjustment or manual adjustment in 6 mm steps.

WASHING TIPS

Lawn mowers rarely fail due to use or age. If you suddenly notice that the functions of your mower have deteriorated, poor maintenance and corrosion are much more often the explanation. In order to reduce the risk of such problems arising, our mowers with front decks are designed in a way that makes the machines very easy to service and wash.

uses as there are seasons. So think ahead. Choose a companion that follows you all year round. Consider what

implements you might want to add. And play it safe by choosing 4WD, so that you can get a road grip on all kinds

of surfaces. Note! Some of these implements fit the Estate tractors as well.

SWEEPER

Front-mounted with sideways adjustment to three positions. The wheel system allows the operator to find just the right amount of ground pressure for every task. Sweeps leaves, snow, gravel and last year's grass with a neat and clean result. 85 cm for Villa, 95 cm for Park and 110 cm for Estate. Dust protection available as an option.

GRASS AND LEAF COLLECTOR

Towed, with a 8,5:1 wheel-to-brushrotation. 107 cm working width. Easy to empty from the driver's position. Aluminum wheel transmission and heavy-duty bag stretcher. Also available in 76 cm working width.

FLAIL MOWER – LAWN R AKE

Operates at 3000 rpm, has a 92 cm working width and electric height adjustment. Also available with mechanical height adjustment. Cuts rough grass and weeds up to 100 cm tall. Scrub and overgrown areas are easily controlled by the flail mower. An optional lawn rake rotor is also available.

FERTILISER SPREADER

Towed with a 30 litre capacity, spreading diameter of 2.5-3 metres.

SPRING HOE

For efficient weed removal. Weeds are cut off at the roots, and the working depth is easily set using three screw adjusters. Ideal for combining with the rake tool. Working width 95 cm.

PLASTIC ROLLER

When ballasted with water, the roller will level out the ground and make the lawn perfectly flat. Light weight when storing.

An exclusive tool, which permits you to attach the sweeper or the snow thrower. Transfers power from the engine to the front-mounted implements. Placed on the frame of the tractor, it can be left there the whole year even when cutting grass.

what different. What the school book tells us is that the difference lies in nutrition, water and care. What it forgets to

mention is the shortcut called Multiclip.

It normally takes three steps to get a good result: cut, collect and remove the cuttings, water and add nutrition. At Stiga,

we have simplified the process so that you cut and fertilize in one go. In the same action, water is retained at the grass roots

In only a couple of days, the grass cuttings are broken down and become natural fertiliser. Because you skip the collec-

Stiga is naturally the best symbol we can imagine on garden machinery.

But you will also find other symbols on our products. Here you can see what they mean.

The Al symbol means that the coer is made of aluminium. We use the same impactresistant grade of aluminium that is used in car wheel rims, and therefore give a 20 year guarantee on the cutting deck for normal use.

This symbol can be found on lawn mowers that have galanized coers. The five means that the coer has a 5-year rust-protection guarantee. Here, too, we have been inspired by the automotive industry. The result is a coer with good rust protection.

In the next stage, the grass clippings are broken down and turn into natural fertilizer.

Many of our products carry the Swan symbol , which is a Nordic enironmental symbol for products with low emissions of e.g. noise and exhaust fumes. The Swan symbol means that our entire production process, from the choice of raw materials and manufacture through to scrapping and recycling, has been checked and approed from an enironmental perspective.

This symbol is for professionals who require a completely vibration-free machine that they can operate all day long without suffering from white fingers or muscular contractions. The P0 symbol indicates that the machine does not cause any discomfort

This symbol means that the lawn mower is supplied with a control for four different propulsion speeds. The speed of the blade is always the same, however. This means that you can always adapt your speed according to the grass you want to cut.

Would you like to save money and protect the enironment? Look for this symbol, which means that the lawn mower runs on E85 ethanol fuel, an economical fuel with a very low impact on the enironment.

Preparing the soil requires muscles, no doubt. The choice usually stands between using your own or amplifying

them with the strength of a powerful tiller. Stiga offers a wide range of rotary cultivators adapted for small and large
