MOTION SENSOR INSTALLATION
Note: The motion sensor can be mounted or set

anywhere, indoors or outdoors, at a height up to 10 feet
from the ground. For best range and detection, mount at
least 6 feet from the ground.

FOR MOUNTING

A. Place adjustable mounting bracket (provided) where

desired (such as a post, wall, house) and install top
screw into key slot. Then secure the bottom screw.

B. Slide the motion sensor down onto the bracket. Adjust

the motion sensor to the desired angle.
Note: To tighten the ball joint, use a Phillips screwdriver to
turn the adjustment screw on the bracket.
Important: The bottom cover must face downward after
installation so moisture cannot enter.

SET-UP

1. Remove bottom cover by simultaneously pressing

down on tabs and pulling cover out.

2. Set switch to chime mode.

3. Install four AA alkaline batteries into the battery

compartment. Be sure the battery (+) and (-) terminals

match (+) and (-) contacts shown on compartment.

4. Replace bottom cover.

TEST

1. Plug Receiver into any "live" standard AC outlet not

controlled by a switch.

2. Walk through the coverage area. Note when the chime

sounds. If the coverage area needs to be changed,

adjust the motion sensor for improved coverage.

Retighten the ball joint screw.

TO CHANGE TONE/MELODY OR ALARM

1. Remove bottom cover by simultaneously pressing down

on tabs and pulling cover out.

2. Set switch to "CHIME" position to play tone/melody, or

set to "ALARM" position to play warning sound. When

set to "ALARM" position, two seconds after motion

detection, the Receiver will generate its warning sound

and keep on making it for 45 seconds or until the switch

is set to "CHIME" position.

3. To change tone to different tone or melody, press once

on the "SCROLL" button. Receiver will play next

selection. To continue changing melody or selection,

press down once again and wait for Receiver to

confirm change.
Note: If you change songs or tones too rapidly, the
Receiver will not play each selection. Only last melody or
tone selected will play. Selecting while Receiver is
playing will switch system to new setting, but Receiver
will only finish playing tone or melody already in progress.

DETECTION ZONE

Motion is detected in a 40 x 140° range which will be over
1954 sq. feet. The mounting bracket can be adjusted to
customize the detection zone.
Note: As with most motion detection devices, pets or
other animals may activate the unit. Also, walking in a
straight line towards the motion sensor may reduce
operating range. Walking across the detection field
provides the maximum operational range.

VOLUME CONTROL

Adjust loudness by moving volume control lever on back
of Chime Receiver to desired position.

CHANGING THE SYSTEM CODE (optional)
The user can change the system code signal if
interference occurs with operation. If you use other
wireless products in your home, there is a slight
possibility of interference. Use the following instructions
to change the current system code setting to a new
setting.
Important: If you change the system code on the motion
sensor, you must also change the code on the Chime
Receiver. If the system code does not match on both
items, the system will not function properly.
It is NOT necessary to change the privacy code unless
interference occurs. If you need to change code:

1. Unplug chime Receiver from 120 volt AC outlet.

2. Remove screw from Receiver
wire compartment located on
back of chime and remove wire
cover.

3. Use a nail clipper to cut and
separate one or more of the wires
(“A” through “E”) on Chime
Receiver. Make sure cut wire
does not touch any other wire.

4. Remove the wireless motion
sensor bottom cover.

5. Using a nail clipper, cut and
separate the same wire that was
cut on the Chime Receiver. Make
sure the cut wire does not touch
any other wire.

6. Replace wire cover.

PROBLEM: Receiver does not sound when there is motion

in front of the motion sensor.
SUGGESTION: Replace batteries in the motion sensor
transmitter. Check that the Receiver is within 100’ of the
motion sensor. Check that the system code is the same in
the motion sensor and in the Receiver. Check that metal
objects do not block the motion sensor signal or move the
Receiver.

PROBLEM: Receiver sounds randomly.
SUGGESTION: Change the system code in the motion

sensor and the Receiver.

use, return the product and dated sales receipt to the
store where purchased for replacement.

Not Covered - Batteries, light bulbs and other expendable
items are not covered by this warranty. Repair service,
adjustment and calibration due to misuse, abuse or
negligence are not covered by this warranty.
Unauthorized service or modification of the product or of
any furnished components will void this warranty in its
entirety. This warranty does not include reimbursement
for inconvenience, installation, set-up time, loss of use,
postage, unauthorized service or other products used in

for replacement must include a dated sales receipt. STI IS

INSTALACIÓN DE EL SENSOR DE MOVIMIENTO
Nota: El sensor de movimiento puede instalarse en

cualquier parte, ya sea en interiores o exteriores, a una
altura de 10 pies del suelo. Para lograr ampliar el área de
cobertura y detección, instálelos por lo menos a 6 pies del
suelo.

PARA LA INSTALACIÓN

A. Coloque el soporte de montaje ajustable (se suministra)

en donde desee (puede ser una columna, pared o casa)
e instale el tornillo superior en la ranura. Luego ajuste
el tornillo inferior.

B. Introduzca el sensor de movimiento en el soporte.

Ajuste el sensor en el ángulo deseado.
Nota: Para ajustar la junta esférica, use un destornillador
Phillips para girar el tornillo en el soporte.
Importante: Una vez concluida la instalación, la tapa
inferior debe dar hacia abajo para impedir que ingrese la
humedad.

AJUSTE

1. Quite la tapa de la parte inferior presionando

simultáneamente las lengüetas y tirando la tapa hacia

fuera.

2. Coloque el interruptor en modo de timbre.

3. Coloque cuatro pilas alcalinas AA en el

compartimiento. Asegúrese de que los terminales (+) y

(-) coinciden con los contactos (+) y (-) en el

compartimiento.

4. Vuelva a colocar la tapa.

PRUEBA

1. Enchufe el Receptor a cualquier enchufe de corriente

alterna común que no esté controlado por interruptor.

2. Camine por el área de cobertura. Preste atención

cuando suena el timbre. Si desea cambiar el área de

cobertura, ajuste el sensor de movimiento a la posición

deseada. Vuelva a ajustar el tornillo de la junta

esférica.

CÓMO CAMBIAR EL TONO/MELODÍA O ALARMA

1. Quite la tapa inferior presionando las lengüetas y

tirando de la tapa simultáneamente.

2. Coloque el interruptor en la posición "CHIME" para

escuchar el tono/melodía, o colóquelo en la posición

"ALARM" para escuchar el sonido de advertencia. Dos

segundos después de la detección de movimiento,

cuando lo coloque en la posición "ALARM", el receptor

generará un sonido de advertencia que durará 45

segundos o hasta que coloque el interruptor en la

posición "CHIME".

3. Para cambiar de un tono o melodía a otro, presione el

botón "SCROLL" una vez. El receptor ejecutará la

selección siguiente. Para continuar cambiando

melodías, presione una vez más y espere a que el

receptor confirme el cambio.
Nota: Si cambia los tonos o canciones muy rápidamente,
el receptor no podrá ejecutar cada una de ellas. Sólo se
escuchará la última melodía o tono seleccionado. Hacer
la selección cuando el receptor está ejecutando una
melodía o tono hará que el sistema cambie al nuevo
parámetro, sin embargo, el receptor sólo finalizará de
ejecutar un tono o melodía que ya esté en progreso.

ZONA DE DETECCIÓN

El movimiento se detecta en un radio de 12.19 metres x 140°
que es más de 1954 pies cuadrados. Puede ajustar el soporte
de montaje para lograr la zona de detección que desee.
Nota: Como con la mayoría de los detectores de
movimiento, las mascotas u otros animales pueden
activar la unidad. Además, caminar en línea recta hacia el
sensor puede reducir el área de operación. Caminar de
forma que se atraviese el campo de detección brinda un
máximo de radio de operación.

CONTROL DEL VOLUMEN

Ajuste la intensidad del sonido moviendo la palanca del
control de volumen en la parte de atrás del Receptor a la
posición deseada.
CAMBIO DE CÓDIGO DEL SISTEMA (opcional)
El usuario puede cambiar la señal del código del sistema
si ocurriera interferencia durante el funcionamiento. Si
utiliza otros productos inalámbricos en su hogar, existe la
posibilidad de que haya interferencia. Utilice las
siguientes instrucciones para cambiar el parámetro del
código del sistema.
Importante: Si cambia el código del sistema en el sensor
de movimiento, también debe cambiar el código de canal
en el receptor del timbre. Si los códigos no son iguales en
ambas partes, el sistema no funciona correctamente. NO
es necesario cambiar el código de privacidad a menos
que haya interferencia. Si necesita cambiar el código:

1. Desenchufe el Receptor del timbre del enchufe de 120
voltios de corriente alterna.

2. Quite el tornillo del compartimento
del cable del receptor en la parte
posterior del timbre y quite la tapa
del cable.

3. Use un cortauñas y separe uno o
más de los cables “A” hasta “E” en
el receptor del timbre. Asegúrese
de que el cable cortado no toque
ningún otro cable.

4. Saque la tapa inferior del sensor
inalámbrico de movimiento.

5. Usando un cortauñas, corte y
separe el mismo cable que se cortó
en el receptor del timbre.
Asegúrese de que el cable cortado
no toque ningún otro cable.

6. Vuelva a colocar la tapa del cable.

PROBLEMA: El receptor no emite sonido cuando se

registra movimiento frente al sensor.
SUGERENCIA: Cambie las pilas en el transmisor del
sensor de movimiento. Controle que el Receptor esté
dentro de 100’ del transmisor de sensor de movimiento.
Controle que el código del sistema sea igual en el sensor
y en el receptor. Controle que no haya objetos metálicos
que bloqueen la señal del sensor de movimiento o mueva
el transmisor.

PROBLEMA: El receptor suena en cualquier momento.
SUGERENCIA: Cambie el código del sistema en el sensor

de movimiento y en el Receptor.
