Before You Begin
WARNING: Risk of personal injury. Metal surfaces are sharp and can cause severe cuts. Use gloves and handle the sink edges carefully.
Observe all local plumbing codes. Shut off the hot and cold water supplies. Unpack the new sink and carefully inspect for damage. Verify that all included materials are present. Return the sink to its carton until it is time to install it. Sink fasteners (not supplied) are required to complete the sink
installation. Contact a countertop supplier to choose the appropriate fastener based on the countertop material being used.

1. Prepare the Countertop
NOTE: Install the sink in such a way that future removal will not damage the countertop.
Verify the desired sink location will allow adequate clearance between the backsplash, faucet, sink, plumbing, and cabinet.
NOTE: For sink replacement in an existing countertop, be sure the existing hole is the same size or smaller than the new sink.
Cut along the inside of the cutting line for the countertop opening to prepare the cut-out template.
Locate and mark the faucet hole centerlines on the countertop. Allow a minimum distance of 2-3/8(6 cm) between the faucet centerline and the edge of the sink.
Position, tape, and trace the template on the countertop. Remove the template.
Drill a pilot hole inside the cutting line. Using a jigsaw or keyhole saw, cut along the inside line to cut out the opening in the countertop.
Clean the countertop area to remove any dust, debris, or defects.
2. Install the Faucet Fitting
Drill the faucet holes in the countertop and install the faucet according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

3. Install the Mounting Brackets
NOTE: The type of fastener is dependent upon the countertop material and should be recommended by the countertop supplier.
Equally space and mark bracket mounting hole locations around the cutout. Make sure the mounting holes are positioned 1-3/8 (3.5 cm) +/- 1/4(6 mm) from the edge of the cutout.
Choose an appropriate fastener based upon the countertop material being used (not supplied - contact a local countertop supplier).
With the correct fasteners, loosely attach the mounting brackets to the previously marked locations as shown in the illustration. Do
not fully tighten the mounting brackets at this time.
NOTE: Be sure the ends of the mounting brackets bend up toward
the underside of the countertop.
Turn the mounting brackets until they are parallel to the opening as shown in the illustration.

4. Attach the Sink
WARNING: Risk of personal injury. Metal surfaces are sharp and can cause severe cuts. Use gloves and handle the sink edges carefully.
Clean the top of the sink rim with a non-abrasive, chloride-free cleaner. Rinse thoroughly and allow the rim to dry.
Apply a bead of silicone sealant to the rim of the sink, near the inside edge.
Carefully lift the sink squarely under the countertop cutout. Press firmly on the sink to form a seal.
Apply a bead of silicone sealant around the edge of the sink rim to create a seal between the sink and the countertop.
Turn the mounting brackets so they fit over the sink rim. Check the alignment of the sink in the cutout, making any necessary adjustments.
Tighten the fasteners to secure the sink to the countertop. Immediately wipe away any excess sealant with a damp cloth,
and fill any gaps as needed.
5. Finish the Installation
Connect the drain and faucet supply fittings. Turn on the water supply and check for leaks. Clean up with a non-abrasive cleaner.
