INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Samson Wireless Microphone for Pathology Use

Your system has been preconfigured, integrated and tested prior to shipping.

1. Plug in the power adapters as shown in the user manual in the box.

2. Turn the power on the receiver base unit to “ON”

3. Set the volume level to somewhere between 10 o’clock and 12 o’clock position.

4. Make sure the channel is set to 0 –on the base unit (if not, repeatedly press the
“SELECT” button until you scroll to “0”. This channel should result in a green
light lighting up on the base unit “READY” light, if the microphone itself is already
on. Read the manual if you’re not sure.

5. Charge up the headset microphone with the magnetic charger adapter connector
included for at least a couple of hours.

6. Connect the black HTH engineering custom attenuation adapter cable from the
back of the receiver unit to the jack marked MIC on the Olympus digital recorder..
Use caution- do not flex this cable repeatedly, especially at the splice connection
where the attenuation components are located!
