Toddler-Talk Computer™ is an interactive educational toy
designed for children aged 2 years and up. Your child will enjoy
pressing the light-up buttons, turning the knob to hear goofy sound
effects, turning the pages of the colorful book, watching flashing
lights, and learning to identify ABCs, numbers and shapes.
This box contains one Toddler-Talk Computer™ and an
instruction pamphlet.
Please read the Notice to Parents carefully before you allow
your child to use Toddler-Talk Computer™. Go through the
User Guide with your child as another learning process.

Battery Notice
• Install batteries for your child.
• For best operation, always use fresh alkaline batteries.
• Insert batteries with the correct polarity.
• Do not short circuit the supply terminals.
• Replace the batteries if the sound weakens or the display dims.
• Do not leave dead or weak batteries in Toddler-Talk
Computer™.
• Remove exhausted batteries from Toddler-Talk Computer™.
• Remove the batteries if Toddler-Talk Computer™ will not
be used for one week or more.
• Do not use rechargeable batteries.
• Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix alkaline, standard (Carbon-Zinc) or rechargeable
(Nickel-Cadmium) batteries.
• Only use batteries of the same or equivalent type as
recommended.
Installing Batteries
Note: Do not allow children to install batteries.
1. Toddler-Talk Computer™ requires three “AA” batteries.
(Batteries are supplied fordemonstration purpose only).
We recommend alkaline batteries.
2. Open the battery compartment, found on the bottom of
Toddler-Talk Computer™.(Figure 1)
3. Insert the batteries correctly, as indicated by the polarity
symbols (+ and -) marked inside the battery compartment.

4. Make sure to replace the battery compartment door and
screw it firmly back inplace.
Proper Care
• Clean Toddler-Talk Computer™ with a slightly damp cloth.
• Do not use any chemical solvents on Toddler-Talk
Computer™.
• Do not spill anything on Toddler-Talk Computer™.
• Do not drop Toddler-Talk Computer™ on hard surfaces
• Do not expose Toddler-Talk Computer™ to moisture or
immerse it in water.
• It is best to switch off Toddler-Talk Computer™ when
your child is not playing with it. Remind your child to do so.
• If your child does not press a key for within a 2 minute
time frame, Toddler-Talk Computer™ will turn itself off to
conserve battery power.

User Guide
Keyboard Layout
ON/OFF key
Press the ON/OFF key to turn the unit on. Press the ON/OFF
key once more to turn the power off.
Flashing key
Press the Flashing key to start the flashing lights game.
Quiz key
Press the Quiz key to play a quiz.
Fast Hands key
Press the Fast Hands key to play the punching game.

SFX key
Press the SFX key to play the silly game sounds and refer
to the attached book for animal sound effects.
Melody key
Press the Melody key to hear the animal band composing
music.
ABC key
Press the ABC key to learn the alphabet from A to E.
Turning Knob
In the melody mode, turn the Turning Knob to select a member
of the animal band. In the flashing lights mode, turn the Turning
Knob to control the moving direction of the flashing lights.
How to Operate Toddler-Talk Computer
Press the ON/OFF key to activate the Toddler-Talk
Computer™. There will be an opening melody with flashing
lights.
Press the ON/OFF key once more to turn the Toddler-Talk
Computer™off.
There will be a closing melody with flashing lights.
You are in the flashing lights mode once press ON/OFF key
to turn on the power. So you can turn the Turning Knob to
control the moving direction of flashing lights.

Description of Activities
Activity 1: Numbers and Shapes
• Press any Number key to learn
a number or shape.
Activity 2: Alphabet
• Press the ABC key to learn the alphabet
from A to E.
• The Toddler-Talk Computer™ will tell
you related animals for each letter. For example, A is for
Alligator. All the letters and related animals are shown on
the last page of the attached book.
• The corresponding animal sound will also be played.
• You can see the attached book to view the animal.
Activity 3: Animal Band
• Press the Melody key to hear a
pre-recorded melody.
• You can also turn the Turning Knob
to play animal sounds. There are 5 animal sounds in
the following order: bear, alligator, dog, cat and elephant.
Turn the Turning Knob to jam music.

Activity 4: Flashing Lights
• Press the Flashing key to start the
flashing lights game.
• Turn the Turning Knob to control the
moving direction of the flashing lights.
When you turn the Turning Knob to the
left, the flashing lights will move from right to left and then
decelerate to stop at one of the 5 keys. The unit names
the shape of the key where the flashing light stopped. If
the Turning Knob is turned to right, the flashing lights will
move from left to right and decelerate until stopping at a
key. The unit will name the key once the flashing lights stop
the movement.
Activity 5: Silly Sounds
• Press the SFX key to start the silly
sounds game.
• The unit plays an animal sound effect first
and then asks you to find an answer.
• You can find the answer in the attached book.
• The attached book contains 6 pages. The animal sound
effects and the corresponding keys are shown on page
1 to 5. For example, the page which shows an elephant
inside a star shape and a number 3 imprinted in the lower
right hand corner means that the number 3 star key has a
pre-installed an elephant sound effect.
• The unit will give you a hint if you cannot give a correct
answer.

Activity 6: Fast Hands
• Press the Fast Hands key to start
the punching game.
• Press the light-up key as quickly as
possible during the punching game.
Activity 7: Quiz Game
• Press the Quiz key to start the
quiz game.
• The unit will ask some questions
about numbers and shapesPress the
number key
to answer the question.
• The unit will give you a hint if you cannot give a correct
answer.
