DANGER - to reduce the risk of electrical
shock:
1. Always unplug the machine from the electrical outlet
before cleaning or servicing.
2. This machine is not intended to be serviced by the
end user, refer servicing to qualied personnel only.
It is not intended to be used by persons with re
duced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge, unless given instruc
tion and under the personal supervision concerning
use of the machine by a person responsible for their
safety. Do not leave children unsupervised around
the machine.
3. This product will be wired for either 120 VAC nominal power input OR 230 VAC nominal input. It
is factory-equipped with a specic electric cord an
plug to permit connection to the proper electric
circuit. Make sure that the product is connected to a
dedicated power line having an outlet with the same
conguration as that of the plug.
4. Improper connection of the equipment-grounding
conductor can result in a risk of electric shock. Check
with a qualied electrician or serviceman if you are in
doubt as to whether the product is properly
grounded. Do not modify the plug provided with the
product. NO adapter should be used with this product. If the product must be reconnected for use
on a dierent type of electric circuit, the
reconnection should be made by qualied service
personnel in order to avoid a hazard.
5. If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be re
placed by the manufacturer, its service agent, or
similarly qualied persons in order to avoid hazard.

1. This equipment is designed for use in a commercial
gymnasium or health club. To ensure the proper
use of the equipment in a safe manner, all users of
the equipment should read this manual before using
the machine. This machine should be made a part of
your club training program in order that the equip
ment is used by your members in a safe manner as
intended. In addition to instructing the club mem
bers in the proper use of the equipment, the club
member should obtain a complete physical exam
ination form their health care provider before
beginning any exercise program.
2. This machine is not intended to be used by children.
3. Assemble and operate the machine on a solid level
surface. Position the machine with a minimum of 20
inches (0.5 meters) of clearance on each side to allow
for ease of mounting and dismounting. Allow for 48
inches (1.25 meters) of clearance behind the ma
chine. These dimensions are the recommended min
imum distances. The actual area for access and
passage is the responsibility of the facility and should
take into account this training envelope and any
other national or local codes or regulations.
4. Keep power cord away from heated surfaces. Unplug
power cord when the machine is unattended and
before performing any preventative maintenance
such as cleaning or replacing a worn part.
5. Familiarize yourself with the location of the STOP
buttons on the console. If you experience diculties
during the workout, pushing the STOP button will
bring the machine to a stop.
6. Do not exceed the maximum allowable weight limit
of 350 lbs. / 158 kg.
7. Use care when getting on or o the machine. Always
use the handrails. Do not step o of the machine
while it is moving. Press the STOP button and wait for
the machine to come to a complete stop before
dismounting.
8. Do not over exert yourself during exercise. Stop exer
cising if you feel pain or tightness in your chest,
become short of breath or feel faint. If you feel pain
or experience any abnormal symptoms, stop exercis
ing and consult your health care provider.
9. Wear proper exercise clothing and athletic shoes
during a workout. Avoid wearing loose clothing. Tie
back long hair and keep towels away from the
moving parts. Face forward at all times and never
attempt to turn around while the machine is moving.

10. Do not operate the machine if the motor shroud is
removed or if the power cord is damaged in any
manner. Keep all air openings free from dirt or any
material that would block the ow of air to
the motor.
11. The safety and integrity of this machine can only be
maintained when the equipment is regularly
examined for damage and wear and repaired. It is
the sole responsibility of the owner of this
equipment to ensure that regular maintenance is
performed. Worn or damaged parts must be
replaced immediately or the equipment removed
from service until the repair is made.

ВЫПОЛНЯЙТЕ СЛЕДУЮЩЕЕ
•Поручите пользователям пройти медосмотр перед использованием любой программы тренировки. Если во
время тренировки почувствуете слабость, головокружение
или боль, прекратите тренировку и проконсультируйтесь с
врачом.
•Перед использованием изучите, осознайте и неуклонно соблюдайте все предупреждения, инструкции и процедуры,
содержащиеся в данном руководстве и на тренажере.
•Используйте этот тренажер только по назначению, как описано в данном руководстве.
•Установите тренажер на твердую и ровную поверхность.
•Перед использованием проверяйте тренажер на отсутствие неисправных, изношенных или ослабленных деталей, а при
обнаружении замените или затяните их.
•Прекратите эксплуатацию тренажера, если вы почувствуете слабость, головокружение или истощение.
•Будьте внимательны при подъеме и спуске с тренажера, убедившись, что он полностью остановлен.

PRODUCT MODEL SETUP
INSTALLATION
Refer to the Installation manual for the base unit
product for details on mounting and connecting
the display.
SETUP
After powering the unit for the rst time, the computer
will boot up and the Maintenance Mode screen will
appear in the display. If for any reason the Maintenance
Mode Screen does not appear, press and hold “VOL +,
CH/TRK +, and 3” simultaneously.
To complete the setup, follow this steps:
1. Enter the Managers Password (218) to gain access to
the Product Selection screen.
2. Select the Product you are setting up
3. Once a model is selected, the Maintenance Modescreen will appear.

SERVICE MENU
To access Service Menu options:
1. While in Home Screen, press “VOL +, CH/TRK +, and 3” simultaneously.
2. Service Menu will now be displayed.
3. Select a sub-menu from the list (i.e. Maintenance
Mode), a pop up window appears requesting
a Password.
4. Enter password 218 to gain access to the sub-menu
(i.e. Maintenance Mode).
4. Verify that the serial number matches the last 5 digits
of the Display Serial number. If the numbers do not
match, retype the number (the serial number is
printed outside the package of your Embedded
Display). Click inside the Serial Number tab and the
Numeric Keypad will popup.
5. Verify that the displayed model in the MODEL tab
matches the previously selected product.
6. Modify any customizable parameters from the
default values to meet your needs.
7. Press SAVE AND EXIT. The unit will take you to the Home Screen (screen will vary depending on model).
8. Calibration: Treadmills require you perform a Speed
Calibration and Incline Calibration
(see Calibration and Setup section)

MAINTENANCE MODE
In Service Menu you can view / modify the following
functions:
MAINTENANCE MODE
While in Maintenance Mode, the following
information can be accessed and/or modied:
•SW versions - The latest software version loaded
in the system.
•Serial Number - The last ve digits of the display
serial number.
•Model - The product type (treadmill, bike, etc.).
•Units - The units of measurement (English or Metric).
•Language - The language that the messages are
displayed in.
•Max Time - The maximum time allowed for a single
workout.
•Weight - The default user weight used
for Quick Start programs.
•Oper Hours - The cumulative amount of usage hours.
•Dist Logged - The cumulative distance logged.
•METs Display - Allows the manager/owner to select the
METs Availability (ON or OFF).
•Pause Time - Allows the manager/owner to select the
length of the pause (30, 45, 60, 90, or 120 seconds).
•Auto Fan - Allows the manager/owner to select the
Auto Fans Functionality (ON or OFF).
•Lock Out - Allows the manager/owner to select the
Lock Out Function (ON or OFF).
•Lock Out ID - Allows manager/owner to set a password
for the Lock Out feature.
•Max Speed - English (From 5.0 to 15.0) or Metric
(From 5.0 to 24.1).
•Accel Time - Allows the manager/owner to set the
AccelerationTime of treadmill (From 25 to 60 seconds).
•Decel Time - Allows the manager/owner to set the DecelerationTime of treadmill (From 20 to 60 seconds).
•Club ID - Allows the manager/owner to set a Club ID.
MANAGER MODE
While in Manager Mode, the following information can
be access and/or modied:
1. SW versions - The latest software version loaded in
the system.
2. Serial Number - The last ve digits of the display serial
number.
3. Units - The units of measurement (English or Metric).
4. Language - The language that the messages are
displayed in.
5. Max Time - The maximum time allowed for a single

DIAGNOSTIC MODE
Allows the test of all hard keys, and the telemetry and
contact heart rate.
USAGE STATISTICS
Displays the total number of times a program has been
used (programs will dier by equipment type.
SPEED CALIBRATION (Treadmill Only)
Calibrates the speed of the treadmill:
1. Select Speed Calibration on the Calibration and Setup screen.
2. Press START to begin the calibration.
3. After the Speed Calibration is completed, press EXIT;
The Calibration And Setup screen appears.
4. Press Cancel to exit and go back
to the Home Screen.
5. The Speed Calibration has been completed.
CALIBRATION AND SETUP
The Calibration and Setup screen allows you to calibrate
your equipment, update software, customize the user
interface and setup the TV.
Note: the Calibration and Setup screen is dierent for each
product type.
INCLINE CALIBRATION (Treadmill Only)
Calibrates the incline of the treadmill:
1. Select Incline Calibration on the Calibration and Setup screen.
2. Press START to begin the calibration.
3. After the Incline Calibration is completed, press EXIT;
The Calibration And Setup screen appears.
4. Press Cancel to exit and go back to
the Home Screen.
5. The Incline Calibration has been completed.

CUSTOMIZE UI
Customizes the user interface of the screen:
1. Import Images: allows manager/owner to change
the screen’s background images. To change back
ground images:
•On a USB thumb drive, create a folder called Custom.
•Inside the Custom folder, create a folder called Images.
•Place images you want to upload in the Image folder.
•Plug the thumb drive into the USB port on the center
console
•Navigate to Customize UI function and press
Import Image.
Note: the images have to be saved in .png format and have to
be in a 1024 x 768 ratio.
2. Restore Default Images: allows manager to restore
the screen background to the default factory images.
3. Customize Flags: Allows manager/owner to select
which language ags to display on the Toolbar.
GUI SW UPDATE
Allows the manager to update the GUI software. If for any
reason you need to update the GUI, follow these steps:
1. Connect the USB stick that contains the GUI le.
2. Wait until the USB source is recognized by the system.
3. Press VOL+, CH/TRK+ and 3 simultaneously on the
Center Console keypad to access the Maintenance Mode screen.
4. Select Calibration And Setup.
5. Press the GUI SW Update icon on the Calibration and Setup screen.
6. The GUI update will start automatically.
7. After the GUI update is completed, press EXIT.
8. At the Calibration and Setup screen, press Cancel.
9. Once in the home screen, cycle power.
•Tap on any desired ag location to select that location.
•Tap on desired ag to assign it to the selected location.
•The selected location should now display the new ag.
•Repeat the above steps for each ag you want to change.
•Press Save and Exit to go back to previous screen

TOUCHSCREEN CALIBRATION
This menu lets you calibrate your Touch Screen. The
touch screen is calibrated before it leaves the factory. If
for any reason you need to recalibrate the unit, follow
these steps:
1. Press the Touchscreen Cal icon. A message would appear indicating the Touchscreen les have been
deleted.
2. Cycle the equipment power.
1. Channel Scan.
2. Channel Maintenance.
3. Remote TV Cong Files.
4. Manual Channel Cong.
5. Import TV Cong.
6. Export TV Cong.
1. Channel Scan: Scans the TV signal:
3. Once the system powers up, you will be prompted to
touch 3 points on the touch screen.
4. Do Not touch the screen until prompted.
5. Touch the screen at the points marked by the
crosshair.
6. After touching the 3 indicated points, the Touch
Screen will be calibrated.
TV SETUP
Allows you to setup and manage your TV functionality.
While in this screen, the following options can be
modied:
•Select Channel Scan on the TV Setup screen.
•Select the signal type from the Scan Mode option (Both, Analog or Digital).
•Select the Norm (NTSC, PAL, etc…)
•Select Cable Standard (depends on the country of
installation).
•Press Start to begin the scan.
•After the channel scan is completed. Press Exit, the Calibration and Setup screen appears.
•Press Cancel to exit and go back to Home Screen.
•The channel scan has been completed.
2. Channel Maintenance: allows you to Hide channels,
re-number channels and adjust Audio gain levels.
Select Channel Maintenance from the TV Setup screen:

•Tap on a channel under Current Number to preview that
channel.
•Tap on an item under Desired Number to bring up a numeric keypad; key in the desired channel number and
press OK. This changes the current channel number to
your new selection.
•Under Yes/No, select Yes to make a specic channel avail able for viewing or select No to hide that channel.
•Use the Analog Audio Gain slider bar to adjust audio gain for analog channels, then press Apply Gain to save setting.
•Use the Digital Audio Gain slider to adjust audio gain for digital channels, press Apply Gain to save setting.
3. Remove TV Cong Files: allows you to clear all TV
settings in the event the TV conguration becomes
corrupted.
•Select Manual Channel Cong from the TV Setup
screen.
•At the prompt, press OK to proceed to manual
conguration or Cancel to return to TV Setup screen
Note: Manual conguration will clear all settings of previously
scanned channels. Also, Manual Channel conguration only
works for analog TV.
•In Manual Channel Cong screen, select the Norm
(NTSC, PAL, etc…)
•Tap on the frequency column of each channel and key
in the desired frequency for that channel.
•Press Save and Exit to return to TV Setup screen.
•Press Cancel to return to TV Setup screen without
saving changes.
•Select Remove TV Cong Files from the TV Setup screen.
•At the prompt, press OK to proceed and remove the conguration les or Cancel to return to TV
Setup screen.
Note: once TV conguration les have been removed all
channel settings will be cleared and a channel scan must be
performed.
4. Manual Channel Conguration: Allows you to
manually congure the frequency of each channel:
5. Import TV Cong: Allows you to import all TV
settings and channel scan information from a USB
thumb drive to your display:
•Connect the USB thumb drive, that contain the TV
setup les, to the USB port on the center console.
•Wait until the USB source is recognize by the system
(USB icon will appear on the screen).
•Navigate to the TV Setup screen and select
Import TV Cong, (You will be prompted that the les successfully imported.) TV cong import is now
complete.

6. Export TV Cong: Allows you to export all TV settings and channel scan information from the display to a
USB thumb drive:
•Connect a USB thumb drive to the USB port on the center console.
•Wait until the USB source is recognize by the system (USB icon will appear on the screen).
•Navigate to the TV Setup screen and select Export TV Cong, (You will be prompted that the les successfully exported.) TV cong export is now
complete.
