Introduction

The PEX2S952PW 2 Port PCI Express RS232 Serial Adapter Card with Power Output
turns a PCI Express slot into 2 RS-232 (DB9) serial connections and the ports provide
power output to your devices.

Suitable for many RS232 powered serial applications, and including both low and full
prole brackets, the selectable 5V or 12V power option is able to output using pin 1,
4, 8 or 9, allowing you to congure the card to suit the requirements of your powered
RS232 devices.

The PCI express serial card is based on a native single chip design, that allows you
to harness the full capability of PCI Express (PCIe) - providing optimum reliability
and speed while reducing the load applied to the CPU by as much as 48% over
conventional (bridge chip) serial cards.
