Hardware Installation
Place the laptop on NBCOOLERPRO.1.
Optional:2. Insert the round metal connector provided by the power
adapter into the port marked 5VDC, located on the left side of NBCOOLERPRO. Please note that the cooler can be operated without
connecting the power adapter, as sufficient power can be drawn via
the USB connection, however this will draw power from the laptop
battery. If the USB devices that you are connecting to the USB hub
require excessive amounts of power, the power adapter may be
required. Insert the remaining connector, provided by the power
adapter, into an available power outlet.

maining mini B connector into the Mini USB port, located on the right
panel of the Notebook Cooler.
On the left panel of NBCOOLERPRO, move the ON/OFF switch to 4.
the ON position. The LED located on the left panel should illuminate,
indicating that the cooler is powered on.
Driver Installation
Microsoft Windows® 2000 or later, and Mac OS® 10.x do not require
driver installation, as the NBCOOLERPRO is natively supported. For
Windows® 98/ME, please download the drivers from the StarTech.com
website (www.startech.com).
