Driver Installation
Windows XP
Insert the provided CD into your disc drive. Locate and double-click 1. the Setup.exe file in the Driver folder to launch the setup program.
During the installation, the screen may flicker a couple of times. This 2. is normal. When this section of the installation is complete, click ‘Finish’ to proceed.

When the ‘Install DisplayLink Software’ screen appears. Accept the 3. terms in the license agreement to proceed.
If you have a firewall enabled on the computer, make sure to unblock 4. the Cat5ShareStation utility.
Connect the IP2DVI unit to your router/switch and power it on.5.
When the Found New Hardware Wizard screen appears, select 6. ‘Install the software automatically (Recommended)’ and click Next.
Click ‘Finish’ to complete the installation. 7.
Launch the Cat5ShareStation utility from the icon on the Desktop.8.
A list of all available IP2DVI units detected on the network will 9. appear.

Select ‘Generic DoIP’ and click the ‘Connect’ button. When the 10. connection is ready, you will see the Generic DoIP icon become orange as below.
Then a pop-up message will appear in the notification area 11. indicating the installation is complete.
If your monitor is not yet connected to the IP2DVI, make the 12. connection and power on your monitor.
After the connection, the remote monitor should display an image 13. from the computer.

After the installation completes, select Yes to restart your computer.4.
Connect the IP2DVI unit to your router/switch and power it on.5.
Launch the Cat5ShareStation utility from the icon on the Desktop. 6. Click ‘unblock’ when you see the Windows Security Alert or other firewall warning.
Select ‘Generic DoIP’ and click the ‘Connect’ button. When the 7. connection is ready, you will see the Generic DoIP icon become orange as below.
A pop-up message will appear in the notification area indicating the 8. installation is complete.
If your monitor is not yet connected to the IP2DVI, make the 9. connection and power on your monitor.
After the connection, the remote monitor should display an image 10. from the computer.

To change the display mode, right-click on the tray icon located in the System Tray, next to the clock.
The IP2DVI connected monitor can be configured to:
Extend your Windows desktop (default)
Extend your Windows desktop to Right / Left / Above / Below the primary display
Mirror your Windows desktop
