Installation
Location
When installing the DIN-Rail Industrial Fiber Media Converter, ensure that
the chosen location has a temperature between -10° and 60° Celsius and
a relative humidity less than 95%, non-condensing.
Physical Installation
To install the DIN-Rail Industrial Fiber Media Converter onto a DIN rail,
lower the converter onto the DIN rail from above using the slot. Push the
front of the converter toward the mounting surface until it audibly snaps
into place. Once the converter is in place, connect a DC power adapter to
the DC terminal on the rear of the converter, then plug the adapter into a
standard DC outlet.
Network Connection
When connecting the DIN-Rail Industrial Fiber Media Converter to the
network, ensure that both the converter and the devices being connected
to it are powered off and that all connecting cables are available. The following chart dictates the correct cable for each speed and distance:

Connect the cables to the output of the attached network device and then
to the input of the DIN-Rail Industrial Fiber Media Converter. Once both
devices are powered on, the installation is complete.
