Introduction
Thank you for purchasing a StarTech.com HDMI to HDMI Scaler/ Converter with Audio Separation. This compact device accepts HDMI input with a separate Toslink or analog audio signal, and scales it to HDMI output - adjusting the resolution to match the display’s native resolution, while allowing you to add external analog or digital audio that can be combined with the HDMI video signal or separated to an analog or digital output.

Operating Controls and Functions
Front Panel
HDMI OUTPUT:1. Connect the HDMI output port to the HDMI input port
of your display.
TOSLINK OUTPUT:2. Connect the digital audio output port to the input port of your digital audio equipment (i.e. amplifier or receiver, using Optical Fiber cable.
AUDIO OUTPUT:3. Connect the analog audio output port to the input port of your analog audio equipment (speakers etc.)
MENU Button4. a. Press the MENU button to bring up OSD operation menu b. When in the OSD menu mode, use MENU button as an OK key to confirm the selection.
+/- Buttons:5. a. On the first tier of OSD menu, use + and - buttons to scroll up/down the highlight bar for selection. b. Once the desired option is selected, use + and - buttons to toggle between setting values.

Rear Panel
HDMI INPUT:1. Connect the HDMI input port to the HDMI output port of
your source equipment (i.e. DVD player or Set-Top-Box)
AUDIO INPUT:2. Connect the analog audio input port to the output port of your source equipment
TOSLINK INPUT:3. Connect the digital audio input port to the Toslink output port of your source equipment such as DVD player or Set-Top-Box
Power Supply:4. Plug the 5VDC power supply into the unit and connect the adaptor to AC wall outlet.
