support full or half-duplex operation, and offers 10/100/1000Mbps automatic negotiation,
to ensure optimum performance and reduce network bottlenecks.

1. With the notebook PC powered on and fully booted, insert the ExpressCard into an
available ExpressCard slot on your notebook PC.
2. This will launch the Add New Hardware Wizard which will guide you through the
installation process. On the first screen, click Next to continue. On the screen that
follows, select Install from a list or specific location (Advanced) and click Next to
proceed.
3. Select Include this location in the search, then click Browse to specify the driver
location (D:\Agere\ET1310\Windows, where D is the designated CD/DVD-ROM drive
assignment) and click Next to continue.
4. Click Next to continue, and click Finish to complete the installation.
5. To verify that installation has completed successfully, right-click on My Computer and
choose Manage. Select Device Manager and double click Network Adapters, where
you will notice a listing for your newly installed card.
