Hardware Installation
WARNING! Micro SD cards and computer system components require careful handling. If you are not careful with your Micro SD card lost data may result. Always handle your computer equipment with caution. Be sure that you are properly grounded by wearing an anti-static strap when handling computer components or discharge yourself of any static electricity build-up by touching a large grounded metal surface (such as the computer case) for several seconds.
1. Remove the port cover from the USB port.
2. Gently slide your Micro SD card into the Micro SD slot on the MSDREADU2OTG until you feel resistance.
3. Connect MSDREADU2OTG to your host device.
a) If connecting to an OTG-enabled Smartphone, connect the Micro USB port on the MSDREADU2OTG to the OTG port (Micro USB slot) on your Smartphone.
Note: Not all Smartphones support an OTG adapter. Please contact the manufacturer of your Smartphone for more details regarding support for OTG and le format (FAT/ FAT32/exFAT).
b) If connecting to a USB-enabled computer system, connect the USB port on the MSDREADU2OTG to an available USB port on your computer system.

4. (Optional) The port cover can be placed back on the USB port, to protect the USB
port as well as the Micro SD card.
Micro SD card Removal
1. Grasp the lip of your Micro SD card from the top of the Micro SD slot on the MSDREADU2OTG, and gently pull the card outward until it is removed.
Note: Micro SD cards with a smaller lip, may be more dicult to remove, and removal
may require a small tool, such as a ne set of tweezers.
