Product overview
Install the grounding bar
The grounding bar can be installed either horizontally or vertically, and can be installed on the inside or the outside of your server rack. Using the holes located along the length of the grounding bar, you can connect and ground up to ten devices.
1. Decide whether you want to install the grounding bar horizontally or vertically, and select the area on your server rack where you want to install the grounding bar.
2. Insert the included M5 cage nuts in the holes in your server rack that line up with the mounting holes on the end of the grounding bar.
3. Line up the mounting holes on the end of the grounding bar with the holes in which you inserted the cage nuts.

4. Holding the grounding bar in place, insert the included M5 (20 mm) screws into the mounting holes located on each end of the grounding bar.
5. Use a screwdriver to tighten the screws.
6. Attach the devices that you want to ground to the holes located along the length of the grounding bar.
Note: If you install the grounding bar vertically and inside of the server rack, the mounting screws used to hold equipment may need to be replaced with the provided M5 (20 mm) screws.
