weight capacity, you might experience personal injury or damage to the equipment. This product can
support the following weight: Up to 40 kg (88 lb.).

Wall structures vary, and it’s important to make sure that the type of wall structure and mounting
hardware that you’re using will properly support the mounted equipment. Failure to do so may result in

four times the weight of the mounted equipment.
The mounting hardware included with this product might not be adequate for some wall structures. If
you lack the necessary expertise to attach this product to the wall structure that you’re using, contact

Installation
Attach the decorative covers
1. Place a decorative cover over one end of the wall mount.
2. On the back of the wall mount, insert a decorative cover screw through the top
hole in the wall mount and into the decorative cover.
Tip! There are arrows on the front of the wall mount to indicate which side is the front.
3. Insert another decorative cover screw through the bottom hole in the wall mount
and into the decorative cover. (gure 1)
4. Use a Phillips screwdriver to tighten the screws.
5. Repeat steps 1 to 4 to attach a decorative cover to the other end of the wall mount.

Attach the wall mount to the wall
Warning! Wall structures vary, and it is important that you make sure that the type
of structure and mounting hardware that you are using will properly support the
mounted equipment. Failure to do so may result in personal injury and/or equipment
damage. The wall structure should be capable of supporting at least four times the
weight of the mounted equipment.
Warning! The mounting hardware included with this product might not be adequate
for some wall structures. If you lack the necessary expertise to attach this product to
the wall that you are using, contact a construction professional to install the FPWFXBAT
or to provide specic mounting instructions for your wall structure.
1. Snap the level into the indentation at the top of the wall mount. (gure 2)

2. Position the wall mount on the wall so that the arrows on the wall mount are
pointing upwards.
3. Use the level to make sure that the wall mount is level. (gure 3)

4. Use the holes in the ends of the mounting bracket as a template to mark the
location on the wall where you want to attach the wall mount. (gure 4)
5. Follow the appropriate steps for the type of wall that you’re using and attach the
wall mount to the wall.

Attach the adapter brackets to a ush mounting surface
To accommodate dierent TV designs, the FPWFXBAT comes with ve sets of screws of
dierent lengths and diameters, washers with two hole sizes, and two sizes of spacers.
1. To select the combination of mounting hardware that you need to use to attach the
adapter brackets to the TV, complete the following:
• Determine the depth of the mounting holes on the TV.
• Determine the diameter of the mounting holes on the TV.
Note: If you’re using a TV with a ush mounting surface, you don’t need to use any of
the provided spacers.
2. Position the adapter brackets so that the arrows on the at side of the adapter
brackets are pointing towards the top of the TV and the nuts on the adapter
brackets are pointing towards the outside edges of the TV. (gure 5)

3. Line up the adapter brackets with the mounting holes on the back of the TV.
4. Place the rectangular washers over the adapter brackets.
5. Insert the M5x14 mm screws or M6x14 mm screws through the rectangular
washers, adapter brackets, and into the back of the TV.
6. Use a Phillips screwdriver to tighten the screws. (gure 6)
Warning! Do not over-tighten the screws. If you encounter resistance while you’re
tightening the screws, stop tightening. Failure to do so could result in damage to
the TV.

Attach the adapter brackets to a recessed mounting surface
To accommodate dierent TV designs, the FPWFXBAT comes with ve sets of screws of
dierent lengths and diameters, washers with two hole sizes, and two sizes of spacers.
1. To select the combination of mounting hardware that you need to use to attach the
adapter brackets to the TV, complete the following:
• Determine the depth of the mounting holes on the TV.
• Determine the diameter of the mounting holes on the TV.
2. Consult the images below to see the dierent hardware combinations available, and
select the one that works best with your TV.

4. Line up the adapter brackets with the mounting holes on the back of the TV.
5. Place the rectangular washers over the adapter brackets.
6. Insert the M6x30 mm screws, M8x30 mm screws, or the M8x50 mm screws
through the rectangular washers, adapter brackets, spacers, and into the back of
the TV.
7. Use a Phillips screwdriver to tighten the screws. (gure 8)
Warning! Do not over-tighten the screws. If you encounter resistance while you’re
tightening the screws, stop tightening. Failure to do so could result in damage to
the TV.

Hook the TV onto the wall mount
Warning! Make sure that the weight of the TV doesn’t exceed the weight capacity of
this product. If you exceed the weight capacity, you might experience personal injury
or damage to the product. This product can support the following weight: Up to 40 kg
(88 lb.)
Warning! Attaching the TV is a two-person job. Do not attempt to complete this task
by yourself.
• With a person holding each side of the TV, carefully lift up the TV and hook the top
of the adapter brackets over the top of the wall mount. (gure 9)
Warning! Do not let go of the TV until you are sure that it’s properly hooked onto the
wall mount.

2. To prevent someone from removing the safety bar, attach a padlock (not provided)
