Compatible with both 2 and 4 headlight systems with isolated high beam wires

Output: 9.5A per output
55 Watt Load on each output
High-Beam Override - Disables flasher when high-beams are activated
Less than 10mA standby current
Mounting:
The enclosed headlight flasher has been designed to be water resistant. However, to ensure years of trouble free operation of the flasher system, it should be mounted in a location that is protected from direct water spray and high temperatures.
Electrical Connections:
GREEN: Connect to reliable ground, preferably close to ground post of battery.
BLUE: Locate the wire that supplies power to the passenger side high beam. Cut the
ORANGE: Connect the flasher’s orange wire to the cut wire end from the passenger side
YELLOW: Locate the wire that supplies power to the driver side high beam. Cut the wire
GREY: Connect the flasher’s grey wire to the cut wire end from the driver side that goes
WHITE: Connect to a +10-16VDC power source capable of providing 15 Amps.
RED: Connect to a powered switch through a user supplied 1 amp fuse.
BLACK: (OPTIONAL Connection): If an “Automatic Nighttime Flasher disable” is required
Flashing Headlight and Taillight Systems are intended for use on approved vehicles ONLY. It is the responsibility of the user of these systems to insure compliance to any Federal, State, or Municipal regulations that may apply.

WARNING: DO NOT USE A CIRCUIT BREAKER, FUSIBLE LINK, OR SLOW BLOW TYPE FUSE!!
(check with state and municipal regulations) simply ‘T’ or tap this wire into the parking / marker light wire. This feature will disable the flasher whenever the parking marker lights are turned ON.

Final System Check:
1. Verify Headlight Flasher properly flashes headlights when Flash Enable switch is activated.
2. With the Headlight Flasher ON, activate the High beams and verify that the flasher de-activates and that both high beam headlights turn ON steady.

3. If “Automatic Nighttime Flasher disable” is hooked up (Black wire), test it by activating the headlight flasher, then turning ON the parking/marker lights. Verify that the Flasher is
+12 VDC
automatically disabled.

This product requires the proper installation of the Night-Time Cutoff circuit.

This circuit is controlled by the black wire exiting the Flasher. The black wire must be wired according to the installation drawing and instructions. Failure to do so may result in head damage to the vehicle’s headlamp housings at the owner’s expense. The Headlamp Flasher will ONLY operate when the headlamps are switched to OFF position. Whenever the headlamps are activated, the Flasher WILL NOT function. It is the responsibility of the installer to make certain the vehicle operator is aware of this situation.
Star Headlight & Lantern Co., Inc. warrants this flasher, under normal use, against factory defects in material and workmanship for one year after the date of purchase. The owner will be responsible for returning to the Service Center any defective item(s) with the transportation costs prepaid. The manufacturer will, without charge, repair or replace at its option, products, or part(s), which i ts inspection determines to be defective. Repaired or replacement item(s) will be returned to the purchaser with transportation costs prepaid from the service point. A copy of the purchaser's receipt must be returned with the defective item(s) in order to qualify for the warranty coverage.
This warranty shall not apply to any flasher which has been altered, such that in the manufacturer's judgment, the performance or reliability has been affected, or if any damage has resulted from abnormal use or service. This warranty does not apply to defect or damage occurring as a result of disaster, accident, abuse, misuse, lightning, power surges, or failure to follow instructions in any enclosed manuals. Any da mage or defects occurring as a result of any unauthorized service or repairs by unauthorized persons shall be excluded from this warranty.
There are no warranties expressed or implied (including any warranty of merchantability or fitness), which extend this warranty period. The loss of use of the product, loss of time, inconvenience, commercial loss or consequential damages, including costs of any labo r, are not covered. The manufacturer reserves the right to change the design of the product without assuming any obligation to modify any product previously manufactured.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You might also have additional rights which may vary from state to state. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. Therefore, the above limitation(s) or exclusion(s) may not apply to you.
