DASH MOUNT LIGHTING ACCESSORIES
Models 274-874, 274-875, 274-878,and 274-878-80
IMPORTANT: Please read all of the following instructions before installing your new warning light.
WARNING!!!! Care should be taken when positioning any warning light on the dash, instrument panel or
visor of the vehicle, so that the light and/or cord does not interfere with the proper operation
of the airbag! Failure to heed this warning may result in serious or fatal injury.
1. Remove all of the parts from the plastic bag and install the suction

Dash Bracket
cups into the holes of the dash bracket with the suction cups facing
away from the sliding plate. Attach them using the enclosed brass
knurled knobs.
2. Clean the windshield area where the suction cups will be
attached to remove any residue that may be present on the
window.
3. Position the bracket on the dash and, if necessary, bend the
metal tabs such that the suction cups are aligned with the
windshield. Press each suction cup firmly against the windshield.
4. Remove the paper backing from the enclosed foam pad and affix the
pad to the bottom of the bracket, between the bracket and the dash.
5. Mount you warning light on top of the sliding plate and adjust it
accordingly.

Dual-Mirror Reflector
Model 274-878 or 274-878-80
Quad-Mirror Reflector
Once your light is secured, route your cord such that it does not interfere with the vision of the driver or
the operation of any controls, including, but not limited to, the steering wheel, gear shifter, and/or airbag.
1. Remove all of the parts from the plastic bag and position the
black base on a firm flat surface with the metal plate facing
upward.
2. With the rounded edges facing upward, insert each of the mirrors
into the slots on the base and press them firmly into place until
the bottom is flush with the base.
3. After checking that both the base and the mounting surface are free
of dust or dirt, remove the plastic backing and affix one side of the
Velcro strips enclosed to the bottom of the base, and the other half to
your mounting surface.
4. Attach the base to the mounting surface using the Velcro and
mount your warning light on top of the base, adjusting it as
necessary.
1. After checking that both the base and the mounting surface are
free of dust or dirt, remove the plastic backing and affix one side
of the Velcro strips enclosed to the bottom of the base, and the
other half to your mounting surface.
2. Attach the base to the mounting surface using the Velcro and mount
your warning light on top of the base, adjusting it as necessary.
3. The 274-878-80 comes equipped with a magnet in place of the
Velcro, to affix the unit to a metal surface.

It is the sole responsibility of the owner to ensure the warning light is secure. Check your light
every time you enter the vehicle to ensure that it is mounted securely. Star Headlight and
Lantern Co. assumes no responsibility for the secure mounting of your light.
The use and installation of this product are the responsibility of the end user. It is
the users responsibility to know and obey all laws regarding the use of this product.
Check all local, state, and federal laws to insure your compliance with these laws.
ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
The manufacturer warrants each new product against factory defects in material and workmanship for one year after the
date of purchase. The owner will be responsible for returning to the Service Center any defective item(s) with the
transportation costs prepaid. The manufacturer will, without charge, repair or replace at its option items that its
inspection determines to be defective. Repair or replacement item(s) will be returned to the purchaser with transportation
costs prepaid from the service point. A copy of the purchaser's receipt must be returned with the defective item(s) in order
to qualify for the warranty coverage. Exclusions from this warranty are FLASH TUBES/BULB(S)as well as the finish.
This warranty shall not apply to any product that has been altered, such that in the manufacturer's judgment the
performance or reliability has been affected or damage has resulted from abnormal use or service.
There are no warranties expressed or implied (including any warranty of merchantability or fitness), which extend this
warranty period. The loss of use of the product, loss of time, inconvenience, commercial loss or consequential
damages, including costs of any labor, are not covered. The manufacturer reserves the right to change the design of the
product without assuming any obligation to modify any product previously manufactured.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You might also have additional rights which may vary from state to state.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts. Some states do not allow the exclusion or
limitation of incidental or consequential damages. Therefore, the above limitation(s) or exclusion(s) may not apply to you.

If a product must be returned for any reason, please contact our Customer Service Department to obtain a
Returned Goods Authorization number (RGA #) before you ship the product to SVP.
Please write the RGA # clearly on the package near the mailing label.
