General safety warnings

Warning! Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings
and instructions listed below may result in injury.
u Read all of this manual carefully before using the appli-
ance.
u The intended use is described in this manual. The use of
any accessory or attachment or the performance of any operation with this appliance other than those recom­mended in this instruction manual may present a risk of personal injury.
u Retain this manual for future reference.
Using your appliance
u Always take care when using the appliance. u The appliance is not to be used as a toy. u Use in a dry location only. do not allow the appliance to
become wet.
u Do not immerse the appliance in water. u Do not open body casing. There are no user serviceable
parts inside.
u Do not operate the appliance in explosive atmospheres,
dust.
u To reduce the risk of damage to plugs and cords never
pull the cable to remove the plug from a socket outlet.
After use
u When not in use, the appliance should be stored in a dry
place.
u Children should not have access to stored appliances. u When the appliance is stored or transported in a vehicle
it should be placed in the boot or restrained to prevent movement following sudden changes in speed/direction.
Inspection and repairs
u Before use, check the appliance for damaged or defective
parts. Check for breakage of parts, damage to switches and any other conditions that may affect its operation.
u Do not use the appliance if any part is damaged or defec-
tive.
u Have any damaged or defective parts repaired or replaced
by an authorized repair agent.
u Never attempt to remove or replace any parts other than

any tool for prolonged periods ensure you take regular breaks.

Additional safety instructions for batteries and chargers

Use
Power/Volume Adjustment
To operate as a cordless product, insert a fully charged 18v Stanley FatMax battery (not included) into the battery port. Be sure battery is fully seated. To turn the speaker on, press the power button (2). Press the power button again to turn the speaker off. Press the “+” button (1) to increase the volume. To decrease the volume, press the “-” button.
Bluetooth® and auxiliary function
When the speaker is turned on, it will automatically be in Bluetooth mode. To switch to auxiliary mode, press and hold the Bluetooth button (3) until the light turns green. To switch back to Bluetooth mode, simply press and hold the Bluetooth
Using Bluetooth® Wireless Technology*
u Turn the speaker on. u The speaker should already be in Bluetooth mode. If not,
press the Bluetooth button (3).
u Find “P3BTS” under devices on your Bluetooth enabled

Listening in auxiliary mode
To listen to a device in auxiliary mode, press and hold the Bluetooth button (3) until the blue light turns green. Plug the auxiliary jack (5) into the auxiliary port of your device.

Incoming Call
If your phone receives a call while it is connected to the speaker it will ring through the speaker.

To transfer the call to your phone, deselect the headset option on your phone. The speaker will remain mute until the call is over. End the call normally with your cell phone. The speaker will resume previous function. **Samsung® is a registered trademarks of Samsung Group.

To transfer the call to your phone, select “audio source” on your phone, then select “iPhone.” The speaker will remain mute until the call is over. End the call normally with your cell phone. The speaker will resume previous function.

Troubleshooting
If your appliance seems not to operate properly, follow the instructions below. If this does not solve the problem, please contact your local Stanley FatMax repair agent. Warning! Before proceeding, unplug the appliance.

If two or more devices are paired to speaker, disconnect the speaker in the settings of the one of the devices.
Maintenance
Your Stanley FatMax corded/cordless appliance/tool has been designed to operate over a long period of time with a minimum of maintenance. Continuous satisfactory operation depends upon proper tool/appliance care and regular cleaning. Warning! Switch off and unplug the appliance before carrying out any cleaning.
u Dirt and grease may be removed from the exterior of the
appliance using a cloth.
Warning! NEVER use solvents or other harsh chemicals for cleaning the non-metallic parts of the appliance. These chemicals may weaken the materials used in these parts. Use a cloth dampened only with water and mild soap. Never let any liquid get inside the unit; never immerse any part of the unit into a liquid.
Warning! NEVER spray or in any other way apply lubricants or cleaning solvents inside the tool. This can seriously affect the life and performance of the tool.
Service Notes
This product is not user serviceable. There are no user serviceable parts inside the radio. Servicing at an authorized service center is required to avoid damage to static sensitive internal components.

Batteries

At the end of their useful life, discard batteries with due care for our environment:
u Run the battery down completely, then remove it from the
tool.
u NiCd, NiMH and Li-Ion batteries are recyclable. Place
the battery(s) in a suitable packaging to ensure that the terminals cannot be short-circuited. Take them to any authorised repair agent or a local recycling station.
u Do not short-circuit the battery terminals. u
