Stroke Information
The diagrams below show the minimum and maximum stroke conditions when rotating the adjusting nut 8. When the adjusting nut is unscrewed beyond the maximum allowable stroke, air will start to leak from the rear of the adjusting nut. Do not use the tool if the air leaks from the tool. When air leaks from the tool, isolate the air from the tool and then screw the adjusting nut back onto the spring housing 3. The adjusting nut will not have any air pressure behind it should the end user carry on unscrewing the nut from the spring housing. When setting the stroke of the hydraulic piston 4, it is highly recommended that the locking nut 7 is tightened into the adjusting nut 8.
