Installation instructions - No Tools Required
1. Remove Bike carrier from box.
2. Loosen adjustment knob allowing the locking teeth to spring
apart and the bike carrier to move freely
3. Locate bike carrier into a 90 degree position to begin
adjustment to suit your vehicle.
4. Place Bottom Location of bike carrier in an angled section of
vehicle such as where boot lid meets rear bumper to prevent
the bottom from sliding. Refer to picture 2 (more pictures
located on retail box and website www.stanfred.com.au)
5. Adjust the angle of the bike carrier allowing the top location to
position on your vehicle. Do not place on top of boot where it
can move or slide allowing bikes to touch vehicle.
6. Bike location bar should remain as close to horizontal as
possible. Ensure bikes will not touch vehicle once loaded.
7. Once position is suitable for your vehicle tighten the
Adjustment knobs to lock bike carrier in position.
8. Locate the six Securing straps to hold the bike carrier firmly in
place.

Once all six straps are located tighten to ensure bike
carrier cannot move or come free from location

Top location

1. Locate top horizontal mounting bar of bike into rubber cradle.
When carrying bikes without a horizontal mounting bar you must use and adjustable extension bar
adaptor to keep bicycle horizontal and balanced. Stanfred part number GBA or MBA recommended
2. Wrap velcro strap over the top of the bike frame towards the rear of the vehicle.
3. Feed velcro strap through the metal loop and back over the bike frame in a reverse direction
ensuring the velcro loops attach firmly securing the bike frame
4. Continue to wrap velcro strap over the bike frame and secure by slightly stretching elastic section
and locate over button (Do no over stretch the elastic section)
5. It is suggested to secure bikes with additional straps once located on the bike carrier to prevent
movement or damage. Ensure bikes do not touch vehicle once loaded
6. Regularly check bikes and securing straps over long periods of travel

Locate bikes using top horizontal mounting bar of bicycle into
rubber cradle.
When carrying bicycle without a horizontal mounting bar you must use an
