This appliance must be earthed.
3 Inserting a Lamp
The light effect unit is supplied without lamp. Ahalogen
lamp with the following specifications is required: 12V/
50W, lamp base GY 6,35 (e.g. HLZ-803 or HLO-803
from the “img Stage Line” range).
Never use lamps with a wattage exceeding 50W!
1) Unscrew the two recessed head screws on the grid
cover (see figure below) and remove the grid.
Access to the lampholder is possible now.
Model LE-180
2) When replacing a lamp, carefully remove the old
lamp from the lampholder.
3) Never touch the new lamp with your fingers. Finger
marks will burn in and reduce the luminous power.
Use a soft, clean cloth to insert the lamp into the
lampholder.
4) Replace the grid cover and retighten the screws.
Caution!
Always disconnect the mains plug before inserting a
new lamp! As the halogen lamp and the metal screws
of the grid cover heat up very much during operation,
let the unit cool down after operation (minimum cooling time 5minutes) before replacing the lamp.
Attention!
The unit is supplied with high mains voltage
(230V~) dangerous to life. Inexpert handling may
cause an electric shock hazard. In any case the
unit must be repaired by skilled personnel.
