Thank you for purchasing the Stagecaptain TF-1000 Taschenlampe. Read
these instructions carefully before operating the unit. Please heed all safety
warnings and keep these instructions for future reference. Follow all
instructions.
Precautions: Do not use this device near water, moisture or heat. Danger of suffocation - keep the packaging material away from
children and animals. Risk of dazzling - never look directly into the light beam! Never aim the light beam directly at other people or animals.
Batteries can be deadly if swallowed. Therefore keep batteries and the article out of the reach of children and animals. If a battery is
swallowed, seek medical assistance immediately. Children must be supervised in order to ensure that they do not play with the article. Before inserting
the batteries, check whether the contacts on the article and on the batteries are clean, and clean them if necessary. Use only the battery type specifi
ed in the technical data. Always replace all batteries together. Do not use batteries of different types or brands, or batteries with different capacities.
When replacing batteries, ensure the correct polarity (+ / –). Remove the batteries when they are dead or if you will not be using the article for a
prolonged period. This will prevent any damage if a battery leaks. If a battery has leaked, do not allow your skin, eyes and mucous
membranes to come into contact with the battery acid. If you touch battery acid, rinse the affected sites with abundant fresh water immediately and
contact a doctor as soon as possible. Remove a dead battery immediately and clean the contacts before you insert new batteries. The batteries must
not be recharged or reactivated by other means, dismantled, thrown into a fi re, immersed in fl uids, or short-circuited. Protect the article from heat,
naked fl ames, extreme temperatures, persistent moisture, wet conditions and collisions.

Battery change (3 x 1.5V battery, Typ AAA; 4.5VDC):
Unscrew the battery compartment cover (2) anticlockwise
and remove it. Remove the battery holder (3), take out
dead batteries if necessary and insert new batteries into
the holder. When inserting batteries, ensure the correct
polarity (+ / –). Insert the battery holder (3) into the torch.
Here too you should ensure the correct polarity (in the
direction of the arrow). Put the battery compartment cover
(2) back on and screw it clockwise to secure it in place.
Use:
Firmly press the On / Off button (4) to switch on and off the article. To use the zoom function, pull the lamp head (2) out forwards or retract it backwards.
To switch to the different modes, lightly press the On / Off button (4). The modes can be selected in the following order:
1. 100% light intensity (automatically on switch-on)
2. 50% light intensity
3. 25% light intensity
4. Flash
5. SOS signal
The CE-marking which is made on your product and/or packing resp. user manual confirms the compliance of the product with all for this item related
harmonized EC directives. Dispose of the article in an environmentally friendly manner at a recycling center for used electrical and electronic
devices. It should not be disposed of in the normal household waste. More information is available from your local authorities. The batteries should
be removed prior to disposal of the article and disposed of separately. To protect the environment, non-rechargeable and rechargeable batteries must
not be disposed of with normal household waste, but must be taken to suitable collection points. Also note the relevant statutory regulations governing
the disposal of batteries. The packaging material is recyclable. Dispose of the packaging in an environmentally friendly manner and take it to a
recycling center.
