Description
The STEVAL-MKI114V1 demonstration board is a
kit made up of a probe, mounting the
LSM303DLHC compass module, which is
connected through flat cable to an adapter board
designed to make it compatible with the STEVALMKI109V1.

Data brief
The device is mounted on the top of a very thin
probe, due to its small package size. The probe
can be easily used to measure magnetic field
intensity, i.e. for finding the source of magnetic
field disturbances on a PCB.
This is possible thanks to the “Unico” software
that comes together with the STEVAL-MKI109V2
MEMS motherboard and is able to easily show
performance and measurement of the STEVALMKI114V1.
Data coming from the digital compass connected
to the board can be read through the PC GUI
which is downloadable from the ST.com website.
