DESCRIPTION
The M74HC240 is an advanced high-speed
CMOS OCTAL BUS BUFFER (3-STATE)
fabricated with silicon gate C
2
MOS technology.

control input governs four BUS BUFFERs.
This device is designed to be used with 3 state
memory address drivers, etc.
All inputs are equipped with protection circuits
against static discharge and transient excess
voltage.
