6 Function description
The appliance is a compact tabletop device. Bag-in-Box cartons and cartridges can be cooled to a temperature of +3°C to +20°C. The device is designed to operate with 220 to 240 Voltw/50 Hz. A maintenance-free refrigerant circuit with compressor provides the cooling. You can use the digital display to set the temperature you require.
7 Operation
7.1 Before initial use
I
7.2 Connecting the device
Please observe the following instructions when connecting:
Place the device on a firm and level surface which is stable. Do not place
it on soft material, such as foam for example, in order to prevent the device moving and producing noise.
Leave a minimum clearance of 30 mm between the rear of the device and
the wall.
Set up the device so that air can circulate freely. Good ventilation around
the device is absolutely essential for the heat dissipation and improves the cooling capacity and the energy efficiency.
Set up the device so that it is not exposed to direct sunlight and is not sit-
uated close to heat sources (ovens, heating devices or radiators etc.). Heat can damage the coating and impair cooling. It also increases energy consumption.
Do not place the device in a damp location. If humidity is too high it will
lead to corrosion of the metal components or cause the insulation to malfunction. Do not spray water on the device as this can lead to an electric shock.
Connect the device to the 230 Vw-connection (fig. 2, page 2).
NOTE
On average, cooling drinks at room temperature to the coldest possible temperature will take 20 h.
