8 Cleaning and maintenance

➤ Clean the internal and external surfaces, the rubber door seal and the
plastic components with a warm, damp cloth and a neutral detergent.
Wipe the appliance dry with a cloth.
➤ Make sure that the air inlet and outlet vents on the device are free of any
dust and dirt, so that heat can be released and the device is not damaged.
➤ Please consult with the manufacturer prior to using disinfectant.
9Warranty
The statutory warranty period applies. If the product is defective, please
contact the manufacturer's branch in your country (see the back of the
instruction manual for the addresses) or your retailer.
For repair and guarantee processing, please include the following documents when you send in the device:
A copy of the receipt with purchasing date
A reason for the claim or description of the fault
WARNING! Danger of electrocution!
Before cleaning and maintenance, disconnect the device from the
mains network and take out all the Bag-in-Box cartons.
NOTICE! Beware of damage!
The following materials damage the coating and the plastics
and must not be used to clean the device: Hot water, thinner,
benzene, alcohols, kerosene, washing powder, detergent, acids, chemical wipes.
Never defrost the device with a steam cleaning appliance.
Never clean the appliance under running water, in a dishwater
or with a steam cleaning appliance.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or hard objects during
cleaning as these can damage the cooling device.
Do not use pointed or sharp-edged objects to remove layers of
frost and ice. This can cause damage to the refrigerant pipes.
