1. Überblick SQuape S[even]

Der SQuape S[even] ist ein komplett in der Schweiz entwickelter und produzierter Bottom Feed RDA (Selbstwickelverdampfer) der Firma StattQualm GmbH. Dieser Bottom Feed RDA, auch Squonker genannt, kann als Direkt zu Lunge (DL) und Mund zu Lunge (MTL) Verdampfer genutzt werden sowie als RDA ohne Bottom Feeding. Im Bottom Feeding Modus wird das Liquid durch Pressen der Liquidflasche im geeigneten Bottom Feed Akkuträger der Verdampferkammer zugeführt. Der SQuape S[even] überzeugt durch seine einfache Handhabung, die ausgezeichnete Verarbeitungsqualität, die hervorragende Geschmacksentwicklung und seine vielseitigen Lufteinstellmöglichkeiten. Die Kurzschlussgefahr ist durch die klevere Stromführung und die nichtleitende Oberflächenstruktur des eingepressten Decks aus emataliertem Aluminium gänzlich gebannt. Um den Verdampfer in Betrieb nehmen zu können, ist es notwendig, eine geeignete Heizspule zu installieren. Sollten Sie mit der Bedienung von Selbstwickelverdampfern oder der Erstellung einer für die Funktion notwendigen Heizspule keine Erfahrung haben, wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Fachhändler.

2. Anwendungsbereich

Wir empfehlen, den SQuape S[even] im Widerstandsbereich zwischen 0.3 und 1.8 Ohm und im Leistungsbereich zwischen 7 und 45 Watt zu nutzen. Es ist möglich, den Verdampfer über oder unter den genannten Spezifikationen zu betreiben – wir schliessen jedoch jegliche Haftung aus. Beachten Sie bitte, dass sich das Gerät durch zu hohe Leistung erhitzen kann. Sie verwenden den SQuape S[even] und die von Ihnen erstellten Heizspulen auf Ihr eigenes Risiko.

5. Inbetriebnahme

5.1 Reinigung

Der SQuape S[even] ist im Auslieferungszustand bereits mehrfach gereinigt. Dennoch empfehlen wir, vor dem ersten Gebrauch und danach in regelmässigen Abständen, sämtliche Teile, welche mit Liquid in Kontakt kommen, unter lauwarmem Wasser zu reinigen und anschliessend gründlich zu trocknen. Der SQuape S[even] ist ultraschallbadtauglich

ACHTUNG: Verwenden Sie den SQuape S[even] nicht, solange er noch feucht von der Reinigung ist. Wasser in der Base kann zu einem Kurzschluss und/oder Fehlfunktionen führen. Lassen Sie das Gerät nach der Reinigung gut lufttrocknen. *** Wir schlagen ebenfalls vor, O-Ringe nach jeder gründlichen Reinigung mit reinem VG (vegetable glycerin) zu fetten.

5.2 Nutzung

Durch Abziehen der Cap von der Base können Sie auf die Wicklung zugreifen. Lösen Sie die Befestigungsschrauben und nehmen Sie eine von Ihnen erstellte oder eine bereits vorgefertigte Heizspule (Coil) und legen Sie diese in das Deck. Wir empfehlen Coils mit einem Durchmesser von 2 - 3mm. Legen Sie die Drahtenden unter die jeweiligen Schrauben und ziehen Sie diese an. Nun können Sie den Widerstand der Wicklung mittels Ihrem Akkuträger oder Multimeter abrufen. Glühen Sie die Coil langsam auf und achten Sie auf

ein gleichmässiges Aufglühen. Bevor Sie die Watte installieren, achten Sie darauf, dass sich die Coil wieder abgekühlt hat. Nehmen Sie einen Strang Watte und ziehen Sie diesen durch die Coil. Die Watte sollte nicht zu fest oder zu locker sitzen. Schneiden Sie die Watte nach Belieben zum Deck ab. Legen Sie die Watteenden locker in die Base. Benetzen Sie nun die Watte mit Liquid. Zum Schluss montieren Sie die Cap wieder auf das Deck. Achten Sie darauf, dass der Stopper, welcher sich oben auf dem Deck befindet, in eine der beiden Aussparungen innerhalb der Cap greifen kann. Nun können Sie mittels Drehung die Luft nach Belieben einstellen.

5.3 Befüllen des SQuape S[even] - BF Modus

Der SQuape S[even] wird direkt im Bottom Feeder (squonk) Modus ausgeliefert. Schrauben Sie den Verdampfer auf einen geeigneten Bottom Feeder Akkuträger mit integrierter Flasche. Befüllen Sie die Flasche und drücken Sie nach der Installation auf die Flaschenseite. Das Liquid wird durch einen Durchlass nach oben gepresst und gelangt in der Verdampferkammer an die Watte. Achtung: die Flaschen haben

jeweils einen unterschiedlichen Druckpunkt.

Entnehmen Sie das Mundstück des SQuape S[even] und beobachten Sie zu Beginn die Fliessgeschwindigkeit des Liquids innerhalb der Verdampferkammer. So erhalten Sie ein Gefühl für den Druck, den Sie auf die Flasche ausüben müssen um eine geeignete Befeuchtung der Watte zu erreichen.

5.4 Befüllen des SQuape S[even] - Dripper Modus

Im Lieferumfang des SQuape S[even] ist eine Verschlussschraube für die Liquidzufuhr im Bottom Feeder Modus enthalten. Montieren Sie die Verschlussschraube von oben (Deck) in den Liquidzugang. Nun ist die Verdampferkammer dicht und der SQuape S[even] kann als Tröpfelverdampfer (Dripper) genutzt werden. Wir empfehlen für die Liquidbeigabe das Mundstück zu entfernen oder ein Mundstück zu verwenden, welches einen grossen Innendurchmesser aufweist. So können Sie bequem von oben die gewünschte Menge an Liquid auf die Watte träufeln.

5.5 Einstellen der Luftkontrolle

Um den Luftzug zu vergrössern bzw. zu reduzieren, bewegen Sie die Kappe horizontal. Der SQuape S[even] verfügt über zwei einstellbare und voneinander unabhängige Lufteinstellungen: DL: Drehen Sie die Kappe komplett nach Links. Dort befindet sich die „direkt zu Lunge“-Luftführung. Diese ist stufenlos einstellbar und unabhängig von der MTL-Luftführung. MTL: Drehen Sie die Kappe komplett nach Rechts. Dort befindet sich die „Mund zu Lunge“-Luftführung. Sie entspricht einem traditionell straffen Luftzug und ist unabhängig von der DL-Luftführung.

Hinweis: Sollte sich die Drehbewegung nach einer Zeit des Gebrauchs etwas erschweren, entfernen Sie die Kappe und setzen Sie sie erneut auf die Base.

5.6 Beispiele einer Wicklung

6. Zubehör

Der SQuape S[even] ist individuell konfigurierbar. Optional sind diverse Zubehör- und Ersatz teile verfügbar. Das Sortiment wird laufend erweitert. Verwenden Sie nur Originalzubehör der Firma StattQualm GmbH.

7. Warnhinweise

• Lesen Sie vor Inbetriebnahme die Gebrauchsinformation gründlich durch!

• Halten Sie den SQuape S[even] trocken (von Wasser)!

• Die Base kann nicht demontiert werden! Ausgenommen Befestigungsschrauben und O-Ringe.

• Nutzen Sie dieses Gerät ausschliesslich zur Verdampfung von e-Liquid aus dem Fachgeschäft!

• Den SQuape S[even] nur an der Luft trocknen!

• Schliessen Sie den Verdampfer nur an eine für den Verdampfer bestimmte Spannungsversorgung an!

• Durch Nutzung unter zu hoher Spannung oder durch Verwendung ohne Flüssigkeit kann der Verdampfer beschädigt werden. StattQualm übernimmt keine Haftung bei unsachgemässem Gebrauch.

• Sollten Sie den SQuape S[even] verlieren, müssen Sie sich einen neuen kaufen und sich ein wenig schämen.

• Nicht für Kinder geeignet! Halten Sie das Gerät von Kindern fern! Ebenso ist der Gebrauch dieses Geräts nicht für Schwangere geeignet.

• Verwenden Sie keine Öle oder ölhaltige Fluide in diesem Verdampfer.

• Verwenden Sie nur für Selbstwickelverdampfer geeignetes Wickelmaterial (Draht, Watte, Mesh etc.)!

1. Description of the

SQuape S[even]

The SQuape S[even] is a Bottom Feed RDA (rebuildable atomiser) developed and produced entirely in Switzerland by StattQualm GmbH. This bottom feed RDA, also called „squonker“, can be used as direct to lung (DL) and mouth to lung (MTL) as well as RDA without bottom feeding. In bottom feeding mode, the liquid supply is fed to the evaporator chamber by pressing the liquid bottle in a suitable bottom feed regulated and non-regulated device. The SQuape S[even] convinces by easy handling, excellent quality, outstanding taste performance as well as its versatile air adjustment possibilities. The danger of short-circuits is completely eliminated by the smart current conduction and the non-conductive surface structure of the pressed-in deck made of ematalised aluminium. In order to put the atomiser into operation, it is necessary to install a suitable coil.

If you are inexperienced with the use of rebuildable atomisers (coiling and/or wicking) you are advised to contact a specialist retailer.

2. Scope of usage

We recommend to use the SQuape S[even] with resistances between 0.3 and

1.8 Ohm and 7 - 45 Wattages. It is possible to use the atomiser above or below the above specifications. Please note that the unit may heat up due to excessive power. We do not accept any liability. This is just a recommendation. The use of the SQuape S[even] and the coils you create is at your own risk.

4.2 Materials

Here at StattQualm we feel strongly about what materials we use and therefore only the best materials make it into our atomisers. The following table shows what materials are used in the SQuape S[even]. Should you have known allergies to one of the listed materials we strongly suggest you do not use this atomiser:

5. Initial Setup

5.1 Cleaning

The SQuape S[even] has been thoroughly cleaned before dispatch. Nevertheless, we recommend that you clean under lukewarm water at regular intervals before and after initial use and then dry thoroughly. In particular, the parts that come into contact with liquid. The SQuape S[even] is suitable for ultrasonic baths.

CAUTION: Do not use the SQuape S[even] as long as parts are still wet or humid. Water can lead to short circuits and/or other malfunctions. Allow the unit to air dry thoroughly after cleaning. ***We also suggest to grease o-rings with pure VG (vegetable glycerin) after each thorough cleaning.

5.2 Use

You can access the coil by removing the cap from the base. Unscrew the screws and take one of your own or a prefabricated coil and place it in the deck. We recommend coils with a diameter of 2 - 3mm. Place the wire leads under the respective screws and fasten each securely. Now you can check the resistance of the coil with your regulated device or multimeter. Glow the coil slowly and make sure that it glows evenly. Before attaching the cotton, make sure that the coil has cooled down again. Take a strand of cotton and pull it through the coil. This should not be too tight or too loose. Now cut the

cotton to the deck as desired. Place the cotton loosely in the base and wet the cotton with Liquid. Finally mount the cap back on the deck. Make sure that the stopper, which is located on top of the deck, can reach into one of the two recesses inside the cap. By turning the cap, the air can be adjusted as desired.

5.3 Reﬁ lling the SQuape S[even] - BF Mode

The SQuape S[even] is delivered directly in bottom feeder (squonk) mode. Screw the atomiser onto a suitable bottom feeder device with integrated bottle. Fill the bottle and press the bottle side after installation. The liquid is pressed upwards through a passage and reaches the cotton in the evaporator chamber. Attention: The bottles each have a different pressure point. Remove the mouthpiece of the SQuape S[even] and observe the liquid flow rate from the liquid to the evaporator chamber at the beginning. This gives you a feeling of how much pressure you have to exert on the bottle to achieve a suitable moistening of the cotton.

5.4 Reﬁ lling the SQuape S[even] - Drip-

per Mode

The SQuape S[even] comes with a screw plug for the liquid supply in bottom feeder mode. Mount the screw plug into the bottom feeder port from above (deck). Now the evaporator chamber is sealed and the SQuape S[even] can be used as a dripper. We recommend to remove the mouthpiece for the liquid addition or to use a mouthpiece with a large inner diameter. This allows you to drizzle the desired amount of liquid onto the cotton from above.

5.5 Setting the air ﬂ ow control

To enlarge or reduce the airflow, move the cap horizontally. The SQuape S[even] has two adjustable and independent air settings: DL: Turn the cap completely to the left. There you will find the „direct to lung“ airflow. This is stepless adjustable and independent of the MTL air duct. MTL: Turn the cap completely to the right. There you will find the „mouth to lung“ air duct. It corresponds to a traditional tight airflow and is independent of the DL airflow.

Note: If the rotation becomes more dif cult

after a period of use, remove the cap and place it back on the base.

6. Accessories

The SQuape S[even] is individually configurable. Various accessories and spare parts are optionally available. The assortment is constantly extended. Only use original accessories from StattQualm GmbH.

7. Warnings

• Please read the user manual and warnings carefully before first use!

• Keep the SQuape S[even] dry (from water)!

• The base cannot be dismantled! Except fixing screws and o-rings.

• Only use this device for vaporisation of e-liquid from trusted sources!

• Please only air-dry the SQuape S[even]!

• Only connect the atomiser to a electricity source made for atomisers!

• The atomiser can be damaged by use of very high voltages or usage without e-liquid. StattQualm cannot be made liable in case of inappropriate or incorrect use.

• If you lose the SQuape S[even], you will have to buy a new one and feel a little ashamed.

• Not suitable for children. Keep the device away from children! Additionally, this device is not suitable for use during pregnancy.

• Do not use oils or liquids containing oils in this atomiser.

• For rebuilding (coiling and wicking) only use materials and tools that are made for this purpose (wire, wick, mesh etc.)!

• The SQuape S[even] and accessories thereof are only distributed by authorised partners of StattQualm. Atomisers and accessories, which have been bought elsewhere, are exempt from warranty.

• Only use genuine accessories by StattQualm. Accessories made by other manufacturers are exempt from warranty by StattQualm GmbH!

1. Allgemeine Hinweise

- Die Abgabe an und der Gebrauch von eZigaretten ist für Personen unter 18 Jahren verboten.

- Die vorliegende Gebrauchsinformation gilt sowohl für den Gebrauch von nikotinhaltigen, wie auch nikotinfreien Liquids in StattQualm eZigaretten.

- Technische Spezifikationen und die richtige Handhabung Ihres Gerätes, entnehmen Sie bitte der Gebrauchsanweisung. Diese liegt dem Gerät bei.

2. Gebrauchs- und Aufbewahrungsanleitung

- Bewahren Sie eZigaretten und Liquids immer ausserhalb der Reichweite von Kindern und Haustieren auf.

- Verwenden Sie ausschliesslich kompatible Nachfüllsysteme, Anschlusstypen und Ersatzteile.

- Betreiben Sie Ihre StattQualm eZigarette ausschliesslich in den empfohlenen Leistungsbereichen (Siehe Gebrauchsanweisung).

- Öffnen Sie niemals ein Gerät, wenn dies nicht ausdrücklich in der Gebrauchsinformation erwähnt und erklärt wird.

3. Gegenanzeigen

Zu unseren Produkten liegen uns keine Studien vor, aus denen sich Gegenanzeigen ergeben würden. Wir empfehlen allerdings bei:

- vorangegangener schwerer oder mittelschwerer Krankheit

- chronischen Beschwerden

- bekannten Allergien gegen Inhaltsstoffe (s. Nachfüllbehälter)

- der Einnahme starker Medikamente Ihren Arzt vor der erstmaligen Anwendung zu konsultieren.

4. Warnhinweise für gefährdete Verbrauchergruppen

- Die Verwendung, sowie die Abgabe von E-Zigaretten und Liquids an Kinder und Jugendliche unter 18 Jahren ist verboten.

- Die Verwendung von E-Zigaretten und Liquids durch Nichtraucher wird nicht empfohlen.

- Die Verwendung von E-Zigaretten und Liquids während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit wird nicht empfohlen.

5. Angaben zu möglichen nachteiligen Auswirkungen auf die Gesundheit

Zu unseren Produkten liegen uns keine Studien vor, aus denen sich nachteilige Auswirkungen auf die Gesundheit ergeben würden. Dies bedeutet aber nicht, dass nachteilige Auswirkungen auf die Gesundheit ausgeschlossen werden können. Bitte beachten Sie insoweit auch unsere Hinweise zu Gegenanzeigen, die Warnhinweise für gefährdete Verbrauchergruppen sowie die Angaben zur suchterzeugenden Wirkung von Nikotin.

Sollten Sie nikotinhaltiges Liquid in Ihrer StattQualm eZigarette verwenden, beachten Sie bitte den folgenden Hinweis: „Nikotin ist ein Stoff, der sehr stark abhängig macht.“

7. Toxikologische Daten

Sollten Sie nikotinhaltiges Liquid in Ihrer StattQualm eZigarette verwenden, beachten Sie bitte folgendes: Dieses Gerät enthält zum Zeitpunkt der Auslieferung keinerlei schädliche Substanzen. Sollten Sie jedoch nikotinhaltiges Liquid in Ihrer StattQualm eZigarette verwenden, beachten Sie bitte auch „6. Angaben zur suchterzeugenden Wirkung“.

8. CE-Konformitätserklärung

Hiermit erklärt StattQualm GmbH, dass sich das Produkt in Übereinstimmung mit den grundlegenden Anforderungen und den anderen relevanten Vorschriften der Richtlinien 2014/30/EU und 2011/65/EU befindet.

9. Entsorgung

Elektro- und Elektronikgeräte (Altgeräte) dürfen nicht in den Hausmüll. Verbraucher sind gesetzlich verpflichtet, diese zu geeigneten Sammelstellen zu bringen. Altgeräte enthalten wertvolle Rohstoffe, die wiederverwertet werden. Die Umwelt und StattQualm sagen Dankeschön!
