IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using any electrical appliance, basic
safety precautions should always be followed including the following:
1 Read all instructions before using.
2 To protect against risk of electrical
shock do not put the unit in water or
any other liquid.
3 Close supervision is necessary when
any appliance is used around children.
4 Unplug from the socket when the ap-
pliance is not in use, or before put-
ting on or taking o parts, and before
cleaning.
5 Avoid contact with moving parts.
6 This appliance has a polarised plug.
To reduce the risk of electric shock,
this plug will t in a polarised outlet
only one way. If the plug does not t
fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If
it still does not t, contact a qualied
electrician. Do not modify the plug in
any way.
7 Do not operate an appliance with a
damaged cord or plug, or after the
appliance is dropped or damaged in
any manner. Return the appliance to
the nearest authorised service facility
for examination, repair or mechanical
adjustment.
8 The use of attachments is not recom-
mended by the manufacturer and may
carry a risk of injury to persons.
9 Do not use outdoors.
10 Do not let the cord hang over the edge
of a table or counter.
11 Don’t run the motor for more than
1 minute, or it may overheat. After 1
minute, switch o for at least 2 minutes, to let the motor cool.
12 Do not use the appliance to blend in-
gredients such as dough, mashed potato, raw meat etc.
13 The blender has a safety start-up sys-
tem. The appliance will not operate
unless it is correctly installed.
14 Never insert the stainless steel blade
unit into the motor base, without rst
attaching it to the travel bottle.
15 To prevent re hazard, power base
openings should be free of dust or lint
and never obstructed with flammable
materials such as newspapers, tablecloths, napkins, dishtowels, or placemats.
16 Never blend hot ingredients or any hot
liquids in the travel bottle.
17 Never blend more than the maximum
capacities marked on the travel bottle.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Motor block
Never immerse the motor block in water. Wipe
the motor cloth clean with a damp cloth and dry
immediately with a soft cloth to avoid scratches
and water marks on the surface.
Cleaning
1 Carefully wash and dry all parts which
come into contact with food – lid, blade
unit, travel bottle and lid. Carefully
wipe the main body with a damp cloth.
2 Take out the required length of cable
and connect the device to the mains
supply.

1 Add the ingredients you wish to
process into the travel bottle, do not
ll above the MAX mark.
2 Secure the blade unit clockwise rmly
onto the travel bottle.

3 Turn the travel bottle upside down
then twist it clockwise so that the
travel bottle assembly is aligned with
the arrow to the lock symbol.
4 Switch on the motor block using the
speed setting required.

Speed setting
USE 1 for high speed - to juice softer produce
PULSE for ice crushing, grinding and short,
powerful impulse movements
After using the blender, always move
the switch into the ‘0’ setting.
5 After use, switch o and unplug the
appliance from the mains socket.
6 Twist the travel bottle counterclockwise
from the motor base.
7 Turn the travel bottle right side up and
remove the blade unit from the travel
bottle and replace with the resealable
lid rmly onto the bottle.

Wiring UK plugs
The product must be earthed. It has a 13A BS1362
fuse in a 13A BS 1363 plug. To replace the plug, t
the green-yellow wire to or E, blue wire to N and
the brown wire to L. Fit the cord grip. If in doubt,
call an electrician. Do not use a non-wireable plug
unless the fuse cover is in place. If you remove the
plug, dispose of it.
Environmental protection
To avoid environmental and health
problems due to hazardous substances in electrical and electronic
goods, appliances marked with this
symbol mustn’t be disposed of with
unsorted municipal waste, but recovered, reused or recycled.
Service
The product is not user serviceable. If it is not
working, read the instructions, check the plug
fuse and main fuse/circuit breaker. If it is still not
working, consult your retailer.
If that does not solve your problem, ring Customer
Services - they may be able to oer technical
advice.
If they advise you to return the product to us,
pack it carefully, include a note with your name,
address, day phone number, and description of
the problem.
If under a guarantee, say where and when it was
purchased and include proof of purchase. Send it
to SQ Professional Ltd.

THE WARRANTY FOR THIS PRODUCT IS
COVERED BY SQ PROFESSIONAL LIMITED.
ANY FAULTS WITH THIS PRODUCT ARISING
THROUGH A MANUFACTURER DEFECT WILL
BE COVERED FOR 1 YEAR FROM THE DATE
