Quick Start Guide –6870 Wide Angel Dash Camera
How to Charge the Super Capacitor:
This is the most common question but this dash camera does not have a built in battery instead it offers a Super Capacitor. Super Capacitor offers quicker reaction time, faster activation, 100x longer usage life, and reliability/ usability under extreme condition of hot and cold.
How to Record a file:
Insert the Micro SD card
Connect the mini USB to Power
When the Vehicle is turned ON or in AUX the recorder will turn ON and begin recording
When the vehicle is turned OFF the recorder will automatically turn OFF
If desired to turn OFF when vehicle is ON, Press and HOLD the Power Button for 5 second
To turn back ON press and Hold the Power button for 3 second.
To end the individual recording tap the REC button for 1 second
To start a new recording tap the REC button for 1 second
How to Playback files on the Device:
1.End the individual recording tap the REC button for 1 second
2. Once the Red (Recording) light is OFF, Tap the (Mode) button 2 times
3. To select a file use the UP and DOWN Arrow buttons to navigate
4. To Play the file press the (REC) Button, this also can be used to pause the recor
5. To exit Playback, tap the (MODE) button 2 times
How to Playback files on a PC:
1. Connect the AUX to USB cable to the device and the other end to the USB port of the computer
2. When connected the PC will recognize the device as a removable disk
3. On the Device select “Mass Storage” with the (REC) button
4. Open the CARDV folder
5. Open the MOVIE or PHOTO folder
6. Click the file you wish to play
How to Playback files on a MAC:
1. Connect the AUX to USB cable to the device and the other end to the USB port of the computer
2. When connected the PC will recognize the device as a removable disk
3. On the Device select “Mass Storage” with the (REC) button .
4. Open the CARDV folder
5. Open the MOVIE or PHOTO folder
6. Click the file you wish to play

How to Delete the files on a MAC:
1. Open the CARDV folder
2. Open the MOVIE or PHOTO folder
3. Click and DRAG the file you wish to delete to the Trash Bin
4. Empty the Trash Bin to permanently delete the file from the device.
Note: If the above step is not completed the files will not be fully deleted from the device and you will have
a phantom folder that will contain the deleted files that can only be seen by a Windows Computer
How to Delete the files from the Device:
1. End the individual recording tap the REC button for 1 second
2. Once the Red (Recording) light is OFF, Tap the (Mode) button 2 times
3. To select a file use the UP and DOWN Arrow buttons to navigate
4. To Play the file press the (REC) Button, this also can be used to pause the recording
5. To Delete the File press the (M) button next to the Power button on top
6. A menu will pop up, use the UP and DOWN Arrow buttons to navigate
7. Navigate to Delete with the UP and DOWN Arrow buttons and Select with the (REC) button
8. Now you can choose to delete either All the files or the individual one being played by taping the (REC)
button
How to set Time/Date stamp:
1. Once the Red (Recording) light is OFF, tap the (REC) button
2. To access the Advanced Menu use tap the (M) button twice
3. Use the UP and DOWN Arrow buttons to navigate to “Date/Time”
4. To select use the (REC) button
5. Use the UP and DOWN Arrow buttons to change the number
6. To move from Year/Month/ Date Hour/Min./Sec tap the (REC) button
7. Press the (M) button to leave the menu once done
8. Make Sure “Date Stamp” is ON under the Menu options
